# About me

On why I have an interest in the military and war. It is not the typical 'testosterone fueled thrill seeking of the male kind', let me clear that up for you straight away. Sure, the adrenaline and the action do get a few points but it intrigues me on why we have war.

"You wanna know what I think? It don't really matter what I think. Once that first bullet goes past your head, politics and all that shit, just goes right out the window." - Hoot, Black Hawk Down.

To me, war is a kind of equaliser. In a warzone, bullets don't discriminate between rich and poor, smart and stupid. You can't reason with that bullet after its fired, no matter how intelligent you are. War is basic, primeval and initiates the survivalist in people. In a kill or be killed scenario, what degree you have doesn't matter. You muscially talented? So what. Do complex problems in your head? So what. Right then and there is the fight for life. A physical battle.

War doesn't have to be a brutal savage event. That's the beauty of the strategic side of it. Meticulous planning and coordination can defeat the enemy in one clean strike. Such elegance in destruction. Synchronised movements and fluid interactions. But what happens when not everything goes to plan? Back to the use of initiative. Instinct and reflex. Thinking on the fly and taking calculated risks.

That's what it's about. In a very crude summary.

That's so stupid, I added more two deviations, which can bee see by the deviation counter: 4. But they can't be seen on this page, or even in the gallery. It still just shows two. You can however, search for it and it appears. That's just crazy.

I think that's because you added them into the scraps folder, which you can access at the top of your page.

Btw, thanks for the add~ <3
