Your work first reminded me of Ralph Steadman's work, actually, but now that I look at your work afresh after not seeing it in a while it reminds me a great of Edward Munch's work. I love how it's the perfect combination of abstract and obvious. You make out most of the pieces, but they still have a nice touch of abstraction.

i think your work with ink is strong. I noticed your journal entry, while it's dated a while back..I would still like to offer some suggestions. I'm not sure if you have been accepted into the MFA program you were trying to get into. I think you should focus on composition. Your technique is good, you great a lot of movement within your subjects. However, I think you could utilize space better. I find that in some of the figure drawings, the figure is very central and this keeps my eye in one place. Where you place your subjects may be intentional, but keep your viewer's eye in mind. Keep them there as long as you can.
