# About me
Mostly a lurker and art appreciator. I enjoy all forms of art and dabble lightly (at this point anyway) with photography and some very very basic graphic design. BUT I hope to learn more and grow over time. I also hope to one day get back to painting like I did in high school. And I love to quilt and write both short stories and novels. Yup, that's about it for that.I'm an avid gamer girl with a deep appreciation for fantasy. I'm a sucker for good romance artwork too. :p I'm an utter Bioware whore. I'm especially obsessed with Dragon Age and Mass Effect. I love all forms of gaming including consoles (although I have a serious love/hate relationship with my XBox 360...), PC, cards, board games, and pen and paper role-playing.
Also love comics, mostly Batman, and more specifically I have a Joker/Harley Quinn fetish. :) Otherwise you can pretty much tell what I'm into based on what artwork I favorite here on DA. I spent several years working in various events for dogs. I've been part of a K9 Search and Rescue Team as well as competed in Confirmation. The specific breed I know the most about is Rough and Smooth Collies.
Current Residence: 7th Level of Hell
Favourite genre of music: Alternative and Rock
Favourite cartoon character: Richard from Looking for Group and Grace from El Goonish Shive
Personal Quote: Sometimes boys...you just have to sit back and taunt the Cyclops.

Thanks so much for the Watch .
I read your Journal entry; I know it's old news now, but you definitely hit on a lot of my feelings - at the time, and to some extent even now. I dealt with it by saying f**k you and wrote a massive story that turned the ending on its head, but it all would have been so much better if they had just gotten those last 15 minutes right....

No problem! Love your Mass Effect works! Ironically I'd been feeling an itch to play again and stumbling across your work made it worse, so back in I go!
And I tell ya I had to laugh, I'd entirely forgotten I'd even written that journal entry! I had to go back and re-read it myself! I entirely agree with you. Looking back over it I'm glad I was wrong about the DLCs that came after that ending. I've loved all the DLCs since the ending. The extended cut, while not perfect, gave me at least enough closure to deduce my own endings and ideas better. It let me feel something finally. Still selfishly I wanted my happy ending, at least with the destruction ending they left the assumption there that my Shep did live and would eventually reunite with her crew and loved ones...even if I don't get to see it happen. Leviathan was fine, interesting. The best DLC was Citadel. It sadly gave more closure and feeling than the extended edition even gave the actual ending. I'm still a bit dumbfounded, even a year+ later, I hope they've learned from the mistake, and it still leaves me sad. Sad that, like you said, after getting everything else so right through three entire games, that they so royally bombed on the last 15 minutes of an entire series...

Yes, the Extended Cut was definitely BETTER. Destroy/breath scene plus your LI choosing not to put your name on the memorial wall (and of course the Normandy leaving that godforsaken jungle planet) all makes it as certain as it can be without showing it, that Shepard will be reunited with her crew and love. It's not enough, but it'll do.
I really enjoy Leviathan, especially the increased squad banter and interaction (and the story and varied, interesting worlds of course). They really did pull out all the stops on Citadel, it is all the awesome and then some!
They'll never live down those last 15 minutes, but I suppose they've done a fair amount to make up for it....

Totally agree. I'll never forget those initial last 15 minutes. But I'm glad they restored my faith in them (enough for now at least) since then. Looking forward to hearing more and more about the next installment.

Yeah, me too. I'm a hopeless Bioware sucker--I mean fan . And I do mean that, because 15 minutes notwithstanding, starting with KOTOR they have created a long string of singularly unique and impactful protagonists, characters and worlds. I eagerly await Dragon Age: Inquisition, and I'm sure when real information starts emerging about the next Mass Effect game, I will inevitably turn into a blubbering fangirl.
