Yeah, sometimes I get nervous when I add people in real life to my dA. It makes it harder to lie about how success I am. xD

The art theft is ridiculous here! The easiest way to protect your art without slapping ugly watermarks on your canvas is either:
1) Make them part of the artwork.
2) hide them in sneaky places, like in the eye or a clothing fold.

I've never had any art stolen myself, so I don't know what that feels like yet (I mean who would want it, huh? xD *shot*). But there are plenty of people who are determined to track down these punks and teach them a lesson. I do hope you decide to return one day. If not, I'll still be hanging around tumblr and watch your uploads. :3

Haha I understand that. Except for me, it's like "Shit, now they'll know how much of a fucking weirdo perv I am. Shit..."

As for the art theft, it's happened to me a lot. I even had someone steal my Flutterbat picture and started selling t-shirts of it. Luckily a watcher told me, asking if they had permission. I eventually got the thief banned from the site they were selling the shirt on, but chances are they still made money of me.

I do, however, already do that with my signature.

Haha I don't think I've ever had that problem. I tell people I'm "studying modern art history and it's effects on society" and then casually drop the subject. xD

That is some seriously messed up bullshit. But at least it got taken down. I remember a similar case of art theft from a few years ago. Some girl entered a painting into the national scholastic art competition knowing it was a near-exact copy of a painting by the artist Yuumei. There was a big commotion over the internet and she soon admitted to the crime. She had her gold medal and award revoked, but she should of known better.

Whatever the case may be, I hope we can stay in contact on here or wherever. I dislike losing art friends that motivate me through their work.
