what do you think of the new SoB White Dwarf codex? Nerfed pretty hard I'd say. I miss my immolator move 12 and shoot and old faith point system. At least Repentia and Celestine are worth their points now. and infiltrating meltas are niiiiiiiice

The people at my playing group don't allow me to complain. Every time they shoot one of those pesky Exorcist Tanks and I get a 6 they call my army overpowered [I kid you not!].

To me the army is playable, and I use Faith now more than I ever did with the old rules; but things that come in deep strike [drop pods] or move far fast [eldar and dark eldar vehicles] gives me a lot of trouble.

I have Seraphims, Repentias and penitent engines but I haven't finished painting them so I haven't tried them. And I can't afford to build a Jacobus Bomb so I'm working with half of what the WDex offers.

I do have fun playing with my girls but to me it's more a platform to write Sisters of Battle stories so I always have fun.

pfft thats kind of insane. The exorcist tanks are literally the only long ranged weapons that the Sisters have. I so rarely get 6s though :<

I'm irritated though that there is no longer any reason to take a canoness since Jacobus is so much better. At least Celestine is worth her points. Its hilarious when she just gets back up again, though she tends to get shot at A LOT because I replaced that damned heavy cape with a set of warhammer fantasy Pegasus wings.
