# About me

OPENING PERSONEL FILE....

Lauren Tyra Jones (more commonly known as Tyra) is known as a rather "difficult" person to deal with. She has a rather harsh exterior that usually pushes people away after even the smallest conversation. Which is exactly what she wants. She hates being surrounded by people she does not trust, and she does not trust well at all due to her past. This is another reason why she cannot get a long well with other's. Tyra will always think the worst of people, even if that is far from the truth. She believes it is better to let one think the worse because most people will only betray her in the end. The only people she let's near her currently would be her Partner Sam. And this is only because the two have gone on countless life or death missions together, so it would only make sense for them to trust each other completely.

Tyra also values honesty above all else. She respects people who are totally honest with her, though that does not mean she will be kind or get along with them. The problem is, while Tyra is honest, she does not choose to word things in a proper way, which often makes her come off as rude and even bitchy. She says what she thinks and will stand by it until she cannot deny it any longer. This has often gotten her into fights and often make people believe she is impulsive and foolish.

Underneath all that Tyra can be quite caring. Though she cannot display the affection well. The years she has spent locking herself away from others has caused her social abilities to be quite lacking. As a result, even when she tries to show her caring side it often comes off as her being bossy or nosey. Not that she cares what other's think. This also means Tyra is not very good at comforting other's. Though some may find her "tell it like it is" approach to be eye opening, more often then not she just comes off as tactless and hurtful.

Tyra is also very paranoid. This is due to the large amount of distrust she has dealt with over the years and also due to being under constant watch. This make her a very pessimistic person and a very cautious one as well. Though very few people se this side of her since it only comes out when she is worried about others. She does not care if she dies or lives for the most part, she is just doing what she thinks is best at the moment.

Physical traits
Most days, Tyra can be seen in her Center Uniform. A black jacket with blue stripes going down the sides of her arms. Around her waist is a dark blue belt that holds several small pouches that she uses to carry small items such as money and a few band aids. underneath the jacket is a dark blue tanktop that shows her back. On her wrist she carries an item that seems very similar to a watch and while it does tell time, it also contains other types of information such as her Center ID and acts as a communicator. This is often turned off when she is not on missions as it is also used to track her. She also wears matching black pants and combat boots.

Hiding--the--Monster [2014-03-12 16:35:08 +0000 UTC]

The werewolf stared at the bars of the cage with a groggy look. HIs glazed blue orbs showed just how many tranquilizers it needed to take him down...

But why was a werewolf in a pound?

Well...

The hunt went well. Relaxing with the pack went well. But....

The large black wolf walked through the back alleys of the city. Being a werewolf in this city was never good, it called for drastic measures. The way the wind whipped around the houses blocked any smells from behind them. He was mindlessly padding through back alleys, his feet light and not a sound heard. But the two dog catchers that seen him from behind seen their promotion. James was at least two times the size of a normal wolf and jet black with blue eyes. Not a normal thing.Β

The guys grinned as they lined up two tranquilizer guns on him and released at least four needles. Before James could whip around, there was two in his hind quarters. The lycan snarled and took off charging at the two before he tripped over his front paws and went rolling into a bush. The dog catchers jammed two more needles in his shoulders to knock him out for good.

James was laying in a kennel, well, curled up since he was so big. He was in the 'Special' area where the dogs were watched after because of their questionable behavior.Β

Tyra cursed under her breath as she followed her partner into the pound. What had been a lazy day out had turned into a rather needless pet hunting day. She had protested at first but as the day went on , Sam had become more and more insitant till the young woman finally caved.

At least we're not getting a cat.... She thought to herself as she walked about. She couldnt help but notice how lazy all the workers seemed to be. It was more noticble when she arrived into a section with some rather vicious dogs. She could sense thier aggravation at being cooped up, something she could understand. As she noticed how confined some seem she could not help but pull at the collar of her shirt. Her damn empathy was acting up again. She should probably leave.

Yet, befote she could turn to leave, her eyes fell on the sight of a rather large dog. "...Damn...aint you a big one..." She remarked under her breath.

[[OKAY--]]

A near deafening silence filled the halls of the hospital. Spirits of comatose patients wandered around, lightly conversing or ignoring each other entirely. An old man sat beside his own body, a forlorn expression stitched into his features as he watched his fleshy carrier sleep, knowing he could never wake up.

The black cloaked reaper stood in the shadows of the room at their full height, skeleton markings in perfectly precise details covering their body from head to toe, even as they stepped out of the shadows and seemed to...shrink. The first of the Reapers, Death itself, now stood in the light in the guise of a mere child, black hair reaching to her knees, black robe accommodating to fit the now tinier height of the female. Taking a step forward, she stood on the opposite side of the old man's bed, hand clasped behind her back as she watched with the dying man.

".....You understand what must happen now that I am here...?" she questioned, keeping her swallowed in black gaze upon the carrier unit. The man swiveled his head around to stare at the girl, a sad look in his eyes as he nodded his head in understanding. Letting out a soft sigh, he rose from his seat and adjusted the tie around his neck; even if he was a spirit did NOT mean he didn't wish to walk around in a backless gown. Nodding once, the girl snapped her fingers to summon her scythe, keeping the blade only a dagger as she reached her hand to his face. His heart stopped almost instantly, the monitors beeping in alarm at the sudden change. The Reaper's hand rose again to slice the air above the man's body, cutting all ties connecting the spirit to the flesh. Film reel flowed slowly from the body seconds after, and the girl watched as the man's life progressed before her eyes. This one would be easy for judgement; an honest man, devoted Christian, loving father and husband, the usual occurrences to send a soul for finalities, just to see how he balanced on the scale. As the film came to its end, Lady Death turned once more to the man, grabbing his shaking hand as a door faded into existence for only the two of them to see.

".....Will I see my wife again....?" he asked, keeping his gaze on the door before him with slight hesitance. No one ever knew what awaited them, though it was next to never Hell.

"You will have to see for yourself. I am not privy to give such information," she answered simply, also keeping her eyes on the door. Paramedics could be heard shouting as they ran down the hall to the man's room. Releasing a shaky sigh, the dead man walked towards the door, watching it open for him before walking through it. It clicked shut once he was completely through, and the block of wood vanished immediately after. The Reaper stood once more as her true self; an adult woman, skeletal markings still in place, and the hood of her cloak pulled over her head to conceal her face

There were a lot of reasons why Tyra hated hospitals. For one, she just had bad experiences with them. For another, hospitals tended to be large and have a lot of people feeling intense emotions. Now, for an empath that didn't have perfect control over thier powers it was uncomfortable, and considering Tyra's control was even lower that just made the place a living hell.

That's why she hated hospitals with a burning passion and did her best to avoid them. However in a case like this, there wasn't much she could dp to avoid it. After coming down with a terrible flu and being caught with a prescription bottle to help tide her over, her oh so wonderful senior had decided she needed to see a doctor. Which meant Tyra was all but dragged to the emergency room, and it had taken all her will power not to a panic attack right then and there.

So, when her Senior had been busy talking to the receptionist, the brunette snuck away...only to get lost.

Why the god damn fuck do hospitals gotta resemble a fucking maze...?

The woman grumbled as she continued to walk down the hall. She wasn't even sure how, but somehow she ended up in the area for those in a coma. At first one would think it was a good place to be for an empath. Afterall, how many emotions can you sense when everyone was essentially asleep or at the very least no longer aware enough to feel at all? That's what Tyra thought at the very least. Until a rather chilling sensation worked it's way down her spine.

the hell...? on an impulse, she quickly turned to face the source of the odd feeling. She rose a brow when she realized it was the room of a coma patient. What in the world was happening in that place?

Seconds after the brunette entered did the man's heart flat line, which meant the paramedics would be there any minute to try and bring him back to life, even if it was impossibility. The black haired woman only turned to the brunette once her job was completed, a brow raising in question as she walked over, staring directly at her. Brows soon furrowing, Diana's hand waved in front of the shorter woman's face, testing to see if the human could see her like some could. It was always best to be sure of such things, after all

Tyra had seen plenty of bizarre things in her life, as a result she had come to expect weird people and odd looks. Β Though, this woman in front of her was going to the top of her list. Her mouth opened to comment on the invasion to her personal space, but it was stalled as a rush of nurses and paramedics rushed into the room. Β Taking several steps back, green eyes scanned the situation before looking back at the oddly dressed woman. Β "The fuck did you do...?"Β

"Ah, so you CAN see me...." Diana mumbled, her hand lowering back to her side as a wry smirk spread across her face, her hands rising to pull down her hood and reveal her skull marked features, "you must have a powerful sixth sense to be able to see ME, of all things...." she sighed, glancing back inside the room before walking out of it. Nobody there even saw her in the room, nor noticed her leave

Whatever the human had said put the reaper on edge, her head swiveling around so she was looking at the female. Her black eyes slowly began to gain a ring of red to show her anger, her image beginning to flicker as she grew dangerously close to showing what she really was, "You dare insult ME, Lauren Tyra Jones? What you have witnessed was a soul collection. It was his time, and as Death, I sent him to the Other realm for his final judgement," she growled, eyes narrowing in a steely glare

A vicious grin quickly spread over her face at the words, "You wish of me to prove it?" she growled, her image flickering again before she stood as a monstrous skeletal figure in dull gray robes, scythe once more in hand and looking even sharper than before, "You think it wise to insult Death? You think yourself brave by insulting me?! she lashed out, sounding as though two voices were speaking, "you are nothing but a child, Lauren Tyra Jones. I know exactly when and how you will die, and I will be SURE to claim your soul then"

Diana reverted back to how she first appeared, though the ring of blood red remained in her eyes as she glared, "Do not be so quick to disbelieve what an inhuman being tells you. You may find yourself greeting an early grave...." She wasn't actually threatening the human girl; it was more of a warning to her. Most supernatural beings didn't take kindly to humans who thought they didn't exist

Nodding slowly in agreement, her hands clenched around her weapon to make it vanish into a shadowy mist and await its next use, "I have seen mortals and others die for much less," she explained, glancing back into the room as it grew silent. As the snow came falling down, the young male and his co-workers were trying to finish up their deliveries and call it s night for the day since a storm would be probably picking up soon. The male had already knew of this since he had woken for a early start. When the work was done he had stayed behind and told his friend he find his own way back home.Β

Walking down the street as the snow came down his eyes wondered from building to building, shop to shop, car to car, person to person, he had taken all the sights of movement and life. It was quiet relaxing in a sense but...also very lonely. After a little walking he took a seat at a near by bench under a street light with his hands stuffed in his pockets as he just sat there....just waiting.Β
