# About me

I am a 3D hobbyist. Since seeing the movie Tron as a young child, I've been fascinated with the idea of 3D worlds and the lives characters might lead in them.

My drawing and painting abilities leave much to be desired, but 3D tools such as Daz Studio have proven to be a great creative outlet. I am slowly learning 3D modeling for which I use Modo and dabble a bit in 3D sculpting with Zbrush. I accept that this will be a slow process as I often get distracted by an image that pops into my head that I just have to render NOW. :-)

My art doesn't really have a theme or direction. It is primarily inspired by random things such as a book I'm reading or a song I hear that evokes some image in my mind.

I've had no formal art training, but I really want to improve my skills and become a better artist, so critiques and tips are always welcome!
