For exactly that reason. It's a signature. Some of my friends address me as "B." I go by "Bella" or "Bellabie," as well. It's what I sign my notes with.
Notes to a boy I once knew named Ricky start with "r:" and for Althea begin with "a:".
"t:" "m:" "j:" It's just a way of simplifying things, I suppose.

goodness. I think I ought to write more notes to people.
also: it's really funny sometimes how absolutely deep people can be
and I find myself with the irresistible urge to know more about everyone
because there is always something shocking or surprising or amazing about everyone. no one is truly bland.
I think simplifying things is a very, very good idea. less is more, as they say
I am well and am doing well and hope to feel fine long into my time line
