I love to read and write. I love discovering new things and watching the History and Discovery channels, along with cartoons like Spongebob and music channels like Fuse (forget MTV, Fuse is what it's all about). I love meeting new people. I love diversity. And I have a new-found love for symbolism and poetry. I have always been just a little different in what I like or am interested in most, but always seem to fit in to some degree in some way. I love Tim Burton. I love J.R.R. Tolkien. And I love many other things. It's hard for me to pick favorites on practically anything. I am a dreamer and a big wishful thinker. I like myself the way I am and wouldn't change for anybody (unless it's for health reasons, of course ;] ). I HATE labels/stereotypes. I'd meant to give out my FB info on here too, but I just got lazy. In honesty, my original account is mostly just around so I can update my work's fan page via admin access (and to keep in touch with relatives and old grad school classmates). The one I just created a few months ago that's more reflective of my own identity has all of 30ish friends and I...tend to forget to log in. Not a huge fan of Facebook here.
Still, very cool. I'm babbling because I'm tired. Go me.

I was thinking of doing the same, but I don't go on FB much anymore. I've gone on even less since getting a tumblr. I tend to forget to log in, too, because I always log into tumblr first and it's all over from there. Where do you work? It sounds pretty interesting if it has a fan page.

I work at a company that offers software downloads (I can note you the actual name if you're interested in checking it out). The irony is I never download anything from there, but I write the reviews and blog posts and all that jazz. It's a fun job. Right up my writing alley, actually. ;]
I'll probably link my FB in my next journal entry, whenever I happen to have time to write one. It'd be cool to meet more dAers who happen to actually be accepting about junk. Potentially anyway. The people on ff.net have been pretty nice as well thus far.
