Yes kind of, I just started working for a game company 
My job is to make the models, rig them, animating them and implementing them into the game and besides this i do the other things in game development.

Say if I want to get into concept design, more like environment drawings, is it required that I learn 3-D? I'm a fan of 2-D. In your job, what do the companies require of you, in terms of skill level (and background)and what're they looking for in new employees? Do you necessarily have to be able to draw everything or does it depend on the job?
Sorry, if it's a bit much. But thanks for taking your time. I just got accepted into a school that specializes in entertainment work and would like to get a bit of a head-start before my classes.
