She had to turn in all of her citizens taxes to Ohio by midnight. "I'm taking a break." She said as she walked out of the building and over to her car. And by break she ment a roadtrip. She had told herself that this morning and that's why there bags in car already, she smiled as got out of car when she arrived at her destination. "Hey California! It was a sunny day at that moment, and just at the time, the Chechen was in a foreign place. Despite of his flat, a bit serious expression, the young man looked around awkwardly, unfamiliar with the surrounding. It was quite different than his mountainous terrain. He didn't even realize the owner of the land might be around at that time.

Sofia had been heading to the beach today,surfboard under her arm and beach bag over her shoulder.Of course she wasn't really paying attention to her surroundings so she bumped right into the other.

"Hey--!" The first thing came to his mind when he was bumped by a young woman carrying a surfboard was a natural 'what the heck' that showed up almost spontaneously on his face in the form of a confused frown. Which, considering it appeared on his face, might look more like an annoyed frown than a confused one, if anyone bothered to think of the man's reason to frown, that is. "Hmh. No problem." He finally replied, with an accent a little too thick to his liking, picking up the local map he was holding that fell to the ground as a result of the bump. No need to fuss over someone accidentally bumping into him, since he had a more urgent thing to think about.
As in...trying to figure out where the heck he actually was.

Sofia picked herself up and brushed herself down,a little shocked that the other didn't help her up.The accent didn't sound like hers,so she suspected that he was a tourist of some sort.He also looked like he had to be getting somewhere.

The young man glanced at her who picked herself up and brushed some dusts down, didn't even notice she actually fell from the bump. He scratched his cheek a bit, made a mental note to pay more attention to his surrounding. At her question, he replied a brief, "No" a little too quickly, then fold the map carelessly and hid it on his pocket with a hint of embarrassment. "No, I'm not from around here. And I'm not lost. I just..." Very reluctantly, he shrugged, "...don't know where exactly I am now."

Zel blinked at the sudden flash of smile, always finding it surprising whenever he saw how quick people could change their expressions, while his own expression almost always be at his default half-frown even when he was feeling good. "California? I see." He reluctantly pulled his map out of his pocket again and wrote something in cyrillic -- he might be able to talk to others easily because regions understand each other despite of the language...but still, considering English wasn't his official language, it was hard for him to get used to the all the English signs everywhere, and the Latin alphabets too. Glancing at her, he motioned to her surfboard. "Why are you carrying that?"
