Oh my god...I can't believe youre actually one of the animators of Ruby Gloom! I absolutely adored that show as a kid! While all my other friends preferred watching things like 'the saddle club' or 'strawberry shortcake' I was never happier then when wrapped up in my snoopie blanket in front of the tv watching your little gothic characters go on crazy adventures! I always wanted ruby and skull boy to end up together xD
I just...thanks for helping to make such an awesome show. I wouldn't love black and dark things as much as I do today if it wasn't for that show~ plus I always seem to automatically love any characters that are skeletons now

I recommend the Animator's Survival Kit , if you're just starting out. There is also an iPhone/iPad app.
And first you'll need a build of your character. Here's a cool guide to simple Flash builds. And here's a mockup of one I did based on some game art.

I came here to say how awesome your CMC drawing was! Even though I think Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle's manes could be longer (compare Filly Twilight and her adult unicorn self) and that Sweetie's eye style could be similar to Trixie (since her mother's resemble hers a bit), I guess they are way better than anything I can do. You really rock!
