I used to a member of the viking group RUN located in Copenhagen.
But it splitted up and then i hang around with Lokes Frimænd.

Well, we've only visited markets in the southern german area so far, yet we are planning to attend the viking days in Hedeby this year. Quite funny actually, for my father has lived close by for about ten years, in Rendsborg, and was based at Slesvig (German Navy). But a definite sight would the market at Moesgaard (Aarhus)....must be really stunning.

Yeah Moesgaard is really an experience I guess, thanks as well for the other hints though. I acutally need to mark some down for the forthcoming season.^^
Battle of Hastings naturally would be the topnotch event, no doubt about that, though the anniversary battle in 2006 must have been massive, from what I've heard, even more outstanding than the regular ones.
Well, as for Leipzig, the annual wave gothic festival should be from the 25th - 28th May 2012. At least that's what it says on the homepage. But no trace, if there're any reenactors present as well. But on a WGt 2011 vid from youtube, you can at least see some mead stalls... ;D

Ive been at hastings 2 times. Its nice.
I think i saw a photogallery with a small viking camp.
Its cool that mead or met is more popular in germany than
in denmark.
