It wasn't often she was caught off guard. natalya was unaware of the counterpart of italy- besides, she knew feliciano was prone to being quite the... coward. besides that, natalya happened to be quite the creeper too, and it wasn't new for her to be digging through other's belongings behind their back. she was in the kitchen, she opened the cabinet, and to her surprise it smelt like absolute shit. she was blown back from the smell, the next thing that caught her attention was the actually bloody mess in it. "augh-" she covered her nose, and she narrowed her eyes at the sight of it.( this starter is legit Β a s s )

A certain auburn haired male hummed to himself as he sipped from his water bottle, feeling a strange sense of content for once. It just seemed to be a lovely day... And he planned to spend it inside for the least amount of time possible. He just needed to gather up a couple of things before heading out, and he daydreamed for the time being. That is, until he entered the kitchen. He immediately jumped at the sight of a dark figure in the room, gasping as he dropped his drink. Panicking, he grabbed the nearest thing that he could use to defend himself, firmly grasping it without even looking to see what was. "Wh-Who the fuck are you?!" He shouted, trying to sound as intimidating as he could. Too bad his stutter had gotten in the way. Quickly, he glanced down to see what was in his hands. Of fucking course... Of all the things he could of possibly grabbed in the kitchen, he had to have found his copy of The Lion, The Witch, And The Wardrobe that was messily left on the counter from the last time he had read it. It wasn't even a hard cover, for God's sake! Hopefully he wouldn't have to fight, then...

The auburn Italian smiled shyly, blushing at the other's kindness. "Oh, uh, sure. Grazie mille." He gingerly took the cup of tea before setting it on the table. Behind his pink cheeks, the secondary nation greatly questioned the contents of the tea; no way was he drinking it. He internally apologized to Oliver for his mistrust, feeling a little guilty for not trusting the pink haired Englishman. He glanced around the small meeting table, trying to distract himself. "So... A-Any idea what this meeting is about, Oliver?"Β

" No idea in all honesty. I was not the one to schedule a meeting between ambassadors....my boss was. I believe though that it is to lighten the tension between the nations we represent and....attempt to produce a sort of...alliance in case one of our home nations gets attacked by another nation." He poured himself and the other a cup of tea from the pot, taking his cup with a smile to drink. " Such a twisted world we live in.....it is best not to face the world alone, you know?"

Luciano listened intently before nodding. "Ah, sΓ. That would make sense." A small smile appeared on his face, but his ruby eyes remained nervous. "With thr-threats of terror attacks around every corner, we need a-all the help we can get." His fidgeting fingers found their way to the tassels on his uniform, where they toyed with the almost rope-like material. He inhaled and exhaled deliberately, trying to relax. There was no reason to be all anxious, he told himself. However, his irises continued to glance around the room restlessly. "So... I-Is there anything we could uh do...?" Usually, the nations' appearances for meetings like this were for nothing more than show; it was their bosses that handled the most of the dirty work. They were just dolls in a display case as far as politics were concerned.Β
