Heyyyyyy. You play snare? I marched snare for the past 4 years. I marched Fever (div 2) drum corps in 05 (when they were good, lol). And im marching a local independent drum line. I want to march Cascades, Mandarins, or Vanguard this summer.
Whats your experience?

sweet man! i've marched snare with our class d marching band in highschool the last 3 years and we've pwned, i went to my first ever dci camp last weekendish with the glassmen which was really cool

na, i didn't make it, i didn't do mysefl anywhere near justice in the audition, plus our highschool marching band has a real good perc. director. so ima stick with him till i can't anymore

Ah, that sucks. Well how old are you? You still probably have a few more years you can do it. Im almost 19, so i only have 3 years left till i age out. What school do you go to? Does your band do the BOA (Bands of America) marching band competitions? Anyways, good luck with your drumming. Keep it up man.

i am 17, so ya, i've got some time, and i go to northwestern high school, its a big class d school, bout 90ish people in the band, and we do issma compition (cuase we live in indiana, and boa is to expensive)

i really like the cadets, and the cavaliers snareline is awsome, but im not as big of a fan since they've angled their drums

Vanguard's whole drum staff took over for Cavies, thats why they've angled their drums.
