I'd forgotten the 'not gonna Raichu a love song' at the time I made a request but I do remember stumbling across it a week ago so that might have influenced the request. Either way I was in stitches when I read the text at the top.

If you take it too far it definitely ruins the atmosphere.
If you limit it to using symbols for iconography and colour schemes as part of a cohesive army its not so bad.
The one example I have in the gallery is completely over the top and was done as a joke (and to practice inking).

I keep getting positive comments from my colour test marine for my new army, who has rarity's mark on one shoulderpad but is otherwhise temperate camofluage. In fact the local store manager borrowed it to demonstrate how to do effective camofluage to the newer players.

If you would like to organize your deviations, you have to go to your gallery and click "Edit".
In the sidebar at the left you can create folders for each group you would like to create.

I really do like the way you can sort things into sections, so for me I now have drawings and other section. Hopefully will be expanded on when I have more art.
