You're in the country? Lucky! I should go apple picking with my folks soon, my brother's coming to visit next week. Nothing special in Montreal. I'm finishing up the portrait of the boy with the birthmark. Finally got to ask his permission about it, I found him on Facebook after seeing him again at Bible camp this year.

How was the apple picking? And your brother's visit? I just went apple picking with my family too, we all went to California to visit my grandma there.
Have you heard about the Book of Mormon? It's a Broadway musical, and I'm going to see it in November. Should be interesting...

Apple picking was fun, I went for a long walk in the orchard as I always do, but September was very warm, so not the best weather for the activity. My brother was mostly looking for work as he is unemployed at the moment and is kind of stressed out about it. We went together to Ottawa one day so he could check a few jeweller shops that were interested in his work. I saw the parliament buildings and nice Aboriginal art shops. Bought a little Inuit sculpture reproduction too.
I got myself a Glengarry hat through Ben Bhraggie online as I will be playing pipes for Remembrance Day again this year.
I have heard of the Book of Mormon play, although not sure I would want to see it. I don't like musicals, but let me know how it was.

I'm responsible for the Martyrs Ministry at my church and we have a moment of prayer for martyrs' needs at every prayer meeting.
We also receive the VOM newsletter every month and have the Persecution map on the church billboard.
