Yeah my hands are in pretty bad shape actually... managed to drive a needle into one finger right on the joint so it hurts whenever I bend it... and I managed to slip over on the ice today (FFS ) and now my arm feels weird... so I think I shall just relax with some Star Trek this evening. But in better news - the reason I was outside in the ice was to go to ye olde office to pick up some post for mmeeee and Clarice now has shoes (x4) and socks (x many!) and is looking very sweet wearing them!

Oh Noes! I hope you didnt hurt yourself too much slipping over and that your arm feels better! But it must have been worth it as the shoes and socksicles sounds ADORABLE!
Aaaah, I have done that many times with my needles, my hands are so pockmarked at the moment...its pretty gross and it doesnt help that I burnt my knuckle whilst doing shrinkydinks too...so I have an ugly burn blister on my hand.

I burnt my hand on the oven a couple of years ago, and it was really minor, but it left a scar lol shrinkydinks, I remember shrinking crisp packets in the oven when I was little but I think the foil they have in them now stops it working. NO FUN! Urgghh and my arm and neck are really sore this morning, dammit. But yes, it is worth it for Clarice to have warm feets hehe she looks so adorable!!

I actually think the TNG episode Unification made it make moar sense than most of TOS, since it explained Spock being on Romulus. I love that ep anyway, Data and Spock = My DVD came with a prequel comic that I haven't read yet, but it seems to have 'Captain Data' in it - didn't he liek... DIE IN NEMESIS (aka worst movie ever? )

The next movie HAS TO HAVE Pon Farr. I need ZQ soup-throwing action lol

I love TNG... it was the first Trek I watched sooo, it has a speshul place in my heart Lulz at Picard and Data as Romulans - they suck at it so hard

I got back into Voyager over the weekend, just after I sent you that message about Pon Farr I realised I was up to the ep Blood Fever - Vorik's first Pon Farr loolll poor thing, Tuvok was the only one who could actually help and was like "VULCANS DO NOT TALK ABOUT THE PON FARR"

I don't know why but me and my friend were just talking about 'if Star Trek was Twilight' and now I have this image of Spock as Edward, Kirk as Bella and Bones as Jacob "Vulcans DO NOT SPARKLE"... "I'm a doctor, dammit, not a werewolf!"

I am up to the end of series 3 now (well, I've seen lots of random later eps on TV, but I'm also watching it in sequence lol) and I saw two Borg cubes on screen at the start of the next ep... I'm thinking Seven must be near I have a friend who loves Janeway and Seven and I was bombarded with fanvids the other night lol they are totally doing it... with a bit of Chakotay on the side... or indeed in the middle...

Kes is such a n00bcake, I like her, but... she was... doing Neelix... and is... three years old... the whole concept of that is just a bit icky

I'm thinking Saturday night is going to begin with tacos and jugs of Mexican Zombie and end with us being kicked out of (or walking out of...) the cinema. GOOD TIEMZ!

Yeaahh... Chakotay and Seven is just NO. It WOULD be hot, but... its always Chaks and Janeway. They are like Picard and Bev, they pretend to the crew they are 'just good friends' but you KNOW they are doing it - how many times do you see them have breakfast together?!?!?!

We learned last night that after a bottle of rum (a bigger one this time, which we still managed to finish) that almost EVERY sentence in Star Trek can be made into a sexual innuendo. "I would violate HER protocols" and "I would penetrate HER membrane" come to mind

I love Seven as a full Borg, she is badass. My answer to everything from now on will be a matter-of-fact "We are Borg" Can't believe Chaks tried to suck her out the airlock, shame on him!

You're right... C-Pine IS talented in that area... but he just doesn't do it for me. He isn't made of toffee pudding like Shatner Kirk. Quinto is a good Spock but after watching Patterns of Force again... Nimoy is something else entirely.
