Wow, I think I've come up with something already (weird).. I'm not sure if you mentioned that it sometimes helps to change the opacity of the shape layer to roughly 20% if you're using the photo technique?

Eh, I think I covered the opacity pretty well in that. Even have it set like that on a photo in the tutorial. Of course, I use 0% a lot, sometimes higher. The user should be able to figure that much out though.
