Erik sighed as he rolled over in bed. He'd spent the last few nights with his younger brother in his island home, but he just couldn't sleep. Sure he was used to seeing the midnight sun in his own home, but it was impossible to sleep in this place it seemed. Groaning he looked at the clock. Two o'clock in the morning, and one might think it was the middle of the day. He got up out of bed and made his way to the kitchen, turning on the coffee pot. Hopefully he wouldn't wake up Emil.

The young female scanned her surroundings, looking for some help.
"Ehm- Scusa?" She gently poked the persons shoulder. "Do you know-a how to get to-a the World Meeting?" She questioned, a mild Italian accent slurring between words. "I'm-a new here.. And lost my-a brothers somewhere in the crowd.." She slowly turned her sight to the floor, cheeks tinted pink.

"Oh. Ísland." He tilted his head, groceries in one hand. "I just came from doing a grocery run. Would you like to go to my house for dinner today?" He offered, eyes sparkling with happiness.

Eyðun grinned and hugged Iceland from behind, nuzzling the other softly. "Hello Ísur~! How are you~?" He cooed.

Emil flinched, instinctively elbowing him in the stomach. "The hell?!" He managed before turning around on his heels, "Oh-"

He soundlessly grabbed his stomach, not showing any sign of pain. He was more likely just keeping it cool. "Sorry... I shouldn't sneak up on you like that."

He crossed his arms, flashing a not-very-harsh glare at him. "You shouldn't, definitely shouldn't." He said, shifting his weight. "But, I'm fine. Thanks." He added after at least two to five seconds.

Eyðun smiled at his younger brother and nuzzled him gently. "That's very good. At least you're getting strong." He sighed, looking away after a while. He was scratching his arms a lot.

Emil's ears tinted a light pink and he stepped back from Eyðun, "Is something up?" He asked, huffing quietly. "I mean- How are you?"

Eyðun smiled at him although it was more of a forced smile more than anything else. "I'm okay, I guess, lots of work! But I'm pulling through." He looked away again, a lonely spark in his eyes.

"If y'say so." He raised an eyebrow, silently urging him to keep talking in his head. Almost tempted to actually mention that -- but there's this thing called pride that sometimes Emil just needs to put aside and not be worried about sounding pushy or as if he knows everything.

He seemed to tear up, but as soon as he felt that, he turned away, letting the tears flow without Emil needing to see it. He was so very lonely and sad at this time since now almost everyone turned their backs on him.

Emil stood there awkwardly, very unsure of how to deal with the situation at hand. "..Are you sure y'are okay?" He asked after a moment, biting his lower lip out of nervousness and what-do-i-fucking-do-ness.

Eyðun only trembled, hugging himself. His sobs were now clearly heard. He wasn't okay at all, he just needed a hug and some attention, something he was lacking for a long time. And he was scared he might be alone, on his own yet again.

Emil reached a hand over, gently placing it on his back, and stepped forward, moving to stand beside him. "You're not okay..?" He asked, worry sorta lacing itself with in the tone of voice he used.

He shook his head, immediately hiding his face in the other's chest, sobbing. He seemed really distraught.

He gently rubbed his back because socially awkward and having not enough social skills to figure out what to do-

Eyðun finally calmed down and explained waht was going on in Icelandic to the other, still sniffling.

"I’m not going to stop poking you until you give me some attention." he mumbled, poking the Icelander's cheek for about the trillionth time that day.

Emil quickly gave his hand a light smack away for about the millionth time today, determined not to give in to giving him attention, "No. I'm busy" he muttered, returning to his probably one of those nintendo ds 'petz' games game.

"Why not? I need your attention." He poked his cheek again. "Please? Put your game down and hang out with your dear big brother."

He shook his head, "You're distracting me. This is important." He said, trying to ignore the poking and continue with his probably really childish game.
