I think they must have. Usually we don't get them in Southern California because it's dry heat and they prefer humidity. Plus we're in a crazy drought so there's nowhere for them to lay their nasty little eggs. I dunno. Evil buggers. xDD

Wouldn't they just escape the net?

I do my best to avoid them.
And it fails.

But, erm, Germ-X or any kind of disinfectant seems to work as a repellent. I guess it's because of the scent.
Ever since I started putting disinfectant on whenever I went outside (Purell, if you're curious), I didn't get bitten. c:

Actually, I think that's because Purell uses alcohol as a disinfectant, which is in all those bug-sprays. So you stay germ-free AND Malaria free at the same time. xD Win-win!
