Hahaha yes you may. I just used Halo Reach and Halo 4 armor as a reference then made my own design off that for my OC, but you can. 
Oh I used multiple types of armor not just Recon. I know only her helmet is, but I don't remember the rest.
Can't wait to see how she comes out.
