Uh hi!. Not to be rude or anything but I took a look at your site and I have to say, I think you or your mother (whom ever makes the costumes), needs more practice.
Also the shiny fabric is not a good idea when using for cosplay. You are better sticking with cotton, or any other non shiny and slightly high end fabric. The cosplays are baggy and not form fitting and it just looks...bad.
I'm sorry if you feel that this assessment is unfair but as one cosplayer to another I think you should at least consider my words before dismissing them.
Also, RED is fucking awesome.

I do understand that the shiny fabric was not a good choice, me and my mother are still fairly new to sewing and since she chose a lining fabric in eventually frayed.(those cosplays were meant to be proto-types)The pictures i have posted are from a while ago though so we have had more success with our recent stuff. The school girl costume was actually intended for someone else to wear, but we couldn't get it arranged for her to take pictures of her in it so me being much smaller it didn't look the greatest. The kimono I wore only looks big on me because i was wearing like 3 layers of clothes under it. I do try to tell my mother some of the things you've said to me (but she doesn't always listen)

Um you could try looking a /cgl/ on 4 chan. CGL is the cosplay board and you can find some examples of great cosplays as well as find some great tutorials.
Google is good too.
