I can't beat the whachamacallit for the third time in the first game, the first boss you fight in the Underworld/Hell. GRAH, I KILLED YOU TWICE. WHY WON'T YOU DIIIEEEEE~! -My thoughts when fighting it.
I have all three games for PS2- DMC, DMC 2, DMC 3: Special Edition.

Have you played DMC4? That's the only one I've beat. I've played most of DMC3, and I'm hoping to get my hands on the first two sometime. I really like Dante's look in DMC2, the way he parts his hair and whatnot. //swoon// I haven't been able to find a copy of either so I might just order it off of amazon.
Dear god, I want to do horrible things to reboot Dante. Honestly, the new "DMC" is like a seperate game to me. The plot and character design looks like something an angsty fifteen year-old came up with.

FOOOKKKKK. I'm guessing he's an angsty teen. In the first game, he's pretty badass, never sulks, and seems to have BALLS OF STEEL and NERVES OF STEEL. Plus even more badass weaponry. My favorite combo are Alistar and Dante's handguns. FFFFF, ELECTRICITY SWORD AND SPEEDY SHOTS. Even though the handguns are weak compared to other guns, they shoot the fastest. I like Alistar because of the Devil Trigger.
Apparently the whole city's against him. So... why doesn't he just LEAVE? ...Unless that's what he's trying to do. Then he was just a pussy teenager. BUT HE GREW SOME LATER ON.

If we're still talking about DMC4, it has a different main character but Dante still shows a lot though. The guy's name is Nero and he's pretty cool. Gah, the Devil Trigger is awesome. I was really bummed when it didn't show up in the anime. :C

Crunchyroll. But they're subs. I know there's an English dub... the episodes just wouldn't load on AnimeUltima... I watch all my anime on Hulu or Crunchyroll, unless it's a special case where they don't have all the episodes.

Only five or six episodes were dubbed, and they cut some of the scenes out. You can find a clip on youtube, but personally I don't think it's that great. One site I watch a lot of subbed anime on is AnimeSeason. It's all subs but still, a good site if you're looking for an anime that hasn't been liscensed yet. Have you ever heard of Ungo or No.6?

Never heard of those... But D.Gray-Man episodes 52-the end are all subs only. Due to licensing problems, I have to watch it on a site other than Hulu or Crunchyroll.
I'm touchy with subs online, as they could be fansubs. I sometimes prefer the voices used in the original Japanese than the English dub, though. Zel's voice was just... too deep in the dub... and Lina's and Gourry's. Lina's was... made my ears bleed. Gourry's was just annoying.

No.6 ended about a month ago and Ungo has three episodes so far. They're both pretty good. Depending on the price I sometimes buy DVDS. I live close to a moviestop and some of the volumes with 4-5 episodes are normally around four bucks, which is great for someone with a tight budget (aka me).
Sometimes official subs leave stuff out, but fansubs also do that. Have you ever watched the subbed version of Yu-Gi-Oh? It's watchable but not very well subbed. I get what you mean about perfering subs over dubs. I didn't mind Zel's voice, but Lina and Gourry's were a little...special?

I prefer to check the DVDs out from the library. Our local Borders went out of business, and that was my main link to buying anime and manga. I got my Death Note movie there.
Never seen it. The English dub left out a crapload of stuff and had shitty voice acting.
Lina's voice was way too high-pitched. Gourry's... just annoying. Amelia's was pretty good, though.
I think Zel could have been a bit less... aggressive with his search for a nonexistant cure. Everyone knows you can't reverse chimeras.

I use my library a lot too. Despite having a small manga section, the amount of anime it has is pretty sweet. I was bummed when I found out that Borders was going out of business. It was a pretty nice store.
The english dub made me want to bang my head against the wall, but hey, that's what 4kids does. Plus pointless edits galore.
Lina's voice seemed especially high at the beginning of the last season, you could really tell it had been awhile since her voice actor played her. Gourry's voice was just okay to me, and Amelia's was okay.
Same, but at least it gave him a reason to stick around.

4Kids just babyfies anime that's meant for 13-16 year olds. They edit out "Not child safe" or "Offensive" parts, even though it's not meant for younger audiences in the first place, it's meant for teenagers and older. I was pretty bummed when I learned they dubbed Shaman King.
I found that after listening to the original anime I disliked most of the dub voices. The one I liked was Amelia's.
For some reason, though, I get the feeling Rezo didn't have completely bad intentions. I just don't think Rezo's that bad... he just ended up that way.

I've never seen Hikaru No Go. I know it's by the guy who wrote Death Note and Bakuman, but I haven't tried watching it. RIP Borders, may you and your books rest in peace.
Have you seen the 4kids version of One Piece? That was a riot. Is Shaman King any good? I know a few people who are pretty into it.
I actually liked Rezo. There were a few moments where I wanted to punch him through the computer screen, but other than that he wasn't so bad.
