Hey! Thanks for poking me. ^^ I go through these cycles of INTERACT WITH PEOPLE ALL THE TIME followed by DON'T CHECK EMAIL OR TUMBLR OR HOLD ANY CONVERSATIONS THEY MAKE ME TIRED. I think my "curl up under a blanket" phase is passing now.

It's been super-busy on top of that, and I've been neglecting dA (and your amazing art) badly. There are so many messages, doh.. I'm afraid to start looking through all of them. D:

Work's been really busy, and then I applied for a new job at the last minute and had to scramble to actually put together a resume and associated crap, so that was stressful. (Probably won't get it, but at least I have a CV and letters of rec now, which'll make applying for other jobs easier.) Other than that, I just get home tired after work and taking care of my feral colonies around town, so I sit down at the computer and chat with ~Elfhawk and play Minecraft and read Avengers fan fiction and don't communicate with the rest of the world. It's been nice to just hide under a rock for awhile.

But, art is awesome. I can't not admire it for long. ^^

Sounds like you've been really busy. You mentioned that you don't have high hopes for your job endeavor, but good luck anyway!

Hey! Life got busy and I hid from social interaction for awhile. Doh.

But I think I'll be able to creep back out and start admiring art again here soon.

I hear you. I know some groups end up with a quagmire of submissions to sort through (not to mention that some people actually have complex social lives outside of the internet), but it sometimes drives me crazy when I submit a drawing to a group and it takes over a week for it to be accepted. As you said, I can't fault them but it is frustrating.
