haha...well, i just have never seen a live rugby match before, and i hear the springboks are pretty good. i wouldn't go to see them if there were any rugby matches to see here, but it seems like no one cares about rugby very much here in the States. that's sad. ooooh well. =]

Well, I won't deny that the Springboks are a good outfit, too bad that they are too inconsistent. (That's a debate on its own, which I will not get into, and I am sure you don't want either :) (Smile) ) Funny thing though, I haven't gone to see a live rugby match myself, although I had ample opportunity. Soccer's more my sport though....that's something that's on the rise with Americans these days ain't it?

oh yeah, soccer! Americans like soccer, but not too many games are on the major sports chanels for television, so it can be difficult to have consistent coverage. The Fox Network started up a "Fox Soccer Channel" here last year, and it's nothing but nonstop soccer--pretty cool. Soccer tends to be very popular in the younger people: practically every school has at least four teams: Boys and Girls Varsity teams and Boys and Girls Junior Varsity teams. They get SUPER competitive, and are usually very good. I was never too good at it myself, but my brother played it for years. In my opinion, you have to have lungs of steel to be running for as long and hard as you do in soccer!!!

I know what you mean about the lungs of steel part, since I stopped training, I haven't been able to enjoy my soccer as much as I previously did. I need to get myself back on track, with everything...My art, training, etc. I just started patching up my varsity work, so at least that's ok.
