To find out that one of my favorite dino/creature artists from back in the day is responsible for some of the best skins on the best (in my opinion) free roaming dinosaur game out there (the Isle)... that just makes me so happy!!!

That's awesome!

Absolutely, I love your stuff. I was drawn to your Cyclotosaurus restoration because I recently updated the Paracyclotosaurus Wikipedia page and I thought it was a great restoration from the Mastodonsauridae family. It would be stunning if you ever decided to create a restoration for that species too, as I found a wonderful skeletal reconstruction in some older scans from the 1950s. They're all up on the Wiki page. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paracycl…
Keep up the awesome work!

Thanks! Feel free to use my Cyclotosaurus paleoart for Wikipedia, just credit me by name in close association with the pieces.
Indeed, Paracyclotosaurus skeletals are great. I will try to draw it in my free time.

Cheers!

Hey there! I'm the creator for the Neovenator on the wiki page. I'd like to update the scale chart to show a life restoration, and I know your charts are aesthetically pleasing! Therefore, if I create a line art reconstruction for Neovenator, would it be possible for you to shade it similar to your other charts on the wiki page (eg. your Deltadromeus)?

Paleocolour In reply to AlternatePrehistory [2018-04-04 17:34:42 +0000 UTC]

I think that's a great idea. I would love to colour your lineart. Let me know when you have completed the lines and I'll see what I can do with colouring it.

I checked the wikipedia page for acrocanthosaurus and notes that most restorations seem aΒ  bit outdated. I am therefore working on an acrocanthosaurus at the moment and would like you to colour it if you want to and then we could upload it to wiki

I would be delighted to. Let me know when you have completed your restoration and I'll take a look!

Hello! I was wondering if there was any way I could get the lineart for the Isle? I saw that you can ask for it on discord, but I don't have discord nor do I want to get it, because I don't really want to talk online.

Thanks so much! Is there lineart for any other dinosaurs?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Da5Bells In reply to Da5Bells [2016-11-19 04:58:41 +0000 UTC]

To be more specific, I noticed that Dryosaurus, Therizinosaurus, Juvenile T.Rex, and Subadult T.Rex weren't in there. I also thought that Giganotosaurus, Spinosaurus, Dilophosaurus, Ceratosaurus, and Pachyrhinosaurus had lineart because I've seen some art of those. Thanks again for all your help!

Paleocolour In reply to Da5Bells [2016-11-20 19:21:32 +0000 UTC]

Hello again, Da5Bells.

I don't always create lineart for all dinosaurs, so you might have to look around for fan-made ones.
Here is an album with all the fan-made lineart, I believe: imgur.com/a/yjKjd

Hope that helps.

Is the new feathered T. rex going to have that huge mane shown in the art or it will be a bit different (like in the case of the Hypoendicrin)?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Paleocolour In reply to SonofThunderCatholic [2016-07-30 05:06:35 +0000 UTC]

The art you have seen is concept art, therefore it may be subject to change. The base scaled model will certainly be the starting point, but it will be up to the discretion of the modeller to create the final feather layout.

I heard that TSL models on The Isle will be replaced in the future. Do you know anything about the future T. rex model?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Paleocolour In reply to SonofThunderCatholic [2016-07-16 20:09:34 +0000 UTC]

Hello!
Yes, the Tyrannosaurus model used in The Stomping Lands will be replaced. In the future it will only be accessible by people who own The Stomping Lands already. In its place will be the new Tyrannosaurus model that you can see in my gallery. Though, keep in mind the new model will have two variations: feathered and unfeathered.
Thanks for your interest in the game!

Np, but I must say that this thing of replacing the models for most players (if most of them do not have TSL) may be kinda unfair. I know, they spent money on TSL, but I, fore example, bought this game mainly because I liked TSL's model. I may like a feathered version of the new model, but what if someone prefers the current one and bought the game for this? I think that making TSL's skins exclusive for TSL owners would be more fair.
