I do not know I live around 550 km away from that city. Or are you talking about the Viking exhibition in Berlin? After I visitet that one in Koppenhagen last year I do not know if I am going to to Berlin to see it again.
Next vikingish thing I will do is carvin spoons inside Hedeby at the end of august.

I dooing a bit of reenacting in the viking period of time.
From the pic as a Viking trader, all is handsewn by me. exceptions are the shoes (made by a frind of mine).

Oh that is interesting . I have done a tiny bit of Tudor and Medieval.
Ahh it's really well made! Did you use a pattern or is it your own interpretation?
I am going to attempt to make a medieval costume but I think I should probably use a pattern.
How did you get into these crafts as a matter of curiosity?

The Kaftan is more or less a interpretation on finds from birka and work of other reenactors.
I am not sure if the patterns I know (viking period scandinavia) could be of help to you.

The Crafts I am dooing right know (woodcarving, leather and textiles) came with the time. So to say I thought most of the things by just dooing it and improving over the time.

finde ich auch deswegen hab ich ihn ja auch gekauft Weil er so herlich blöde schauen kann und der Kopf viel Mimik erlaubt. Ich glaub ich geh heute Mittag mal die anderen Bilder suchen.

Dat is mein Spannerobjektiv
Spiegeltele, 500 mm Festbrennweite bei 1:8 und ner Baulänge von ca. 12 cm. Wenn man en leichten Tatter hat is des aber kaum zu gebrauchen weil der Öffnungswinkel recht klein ist.
