Thanks! (Dirty secret: I'm usually too lazy to make my shading match a base's or vice versa, so I just blank it out and scribble all over what's left. But I'm pleased to hear it works!)

Thank you! And well, I'm pretty slow to finish things and by no means an expert, but I've been kicking around the idea of doing a tool-shading tutorial for a while so I'll try to get something up for you one of these days.

I use Photoshop CS3 for everything--it's taken so long for me to get used to that I can't acclimate myself to anything else now
