When someone adds you as a friend, their name appears there. A friend gets immediately notified if you put up new art/update your journal :) (Smile)

You can get more people to look at your page if you're really active in the community :) (Smile) If you want, you can join a club Wink/Razz go to [link] and select one.

Comment on other people's deviations. If you give comments, people will usually return the favour and visit your page.. visit the shoutbox or forums... I would advise you to upload some good pieces in your gallery. Anime is rather popular... If you can't draw well, you can always make wallpaper and stuff (but there are copyright issues you have to be wary of).

But not everyone will add you back as a friend. Especially those who already watch many people as you get notified every time a person on your friends list uploads something, so that's lots of messages... Sweating a little... Sometimes they don't like the genre your art is in and such... :) (Smile)
