np i myself am working on getting to that point of cg/photorealism with photoshop, i have some stuff ill be starting to putup.

any quick tips for coloring like you did?

ha quick! Well...

1. remember that the skin changes colour ranges from blues/purples/reds/green and yellows. Use a little dab of blue below the eyes because this is where the skin is very thin (so you can see the viens a little) Perk the skin up with dabs of red near the corners of the mouth, nostrils.
2. Use brushes that have rough edges and are still soft. I will give a list when i find some.
3. Use a lot of detail on the skin. And i MEAN A LOT! This isn't really about colours but it is SO IMPORTANT for the CGI look. I mean without all the detail i put into the skin it probably wouldn't have such an impact. I draw veins, hairs (brush), bruises, sweat etc. This takes such a long time but it is so worth it.

Well here's your quick tips lol! There is so much more but i don't want to overload you
