Hey! Thank you so much for your interest. I'd love to hear your ideas/concepts for the photoshoots. I'd like to have each topic be based around the particular photoshoot, and then have someone possibly write an article about it. I have one guy out in Vienna, Austria that said he'd be interested in writing/illustrating at times, but the more people involved, the better. Was there anything in particular that you have expertise in? I'd really love to see this get marketed well once I get it up and running. Also, could I get your email address? I'm trying to get a list together of people that are interested in helping. Thanks!

Thanks! A lot of people don't realize there is a wealth of culture in their backyard. They get so caught up in the exoticness of other cultures they forget to explore their own. I am very proud to live and work in Appalachia and to champion our folkways.

You know, I honestly think you're considered more of a rebel weirdo around where I live for standing on your culture as an American than for wishing you were British or Japanese.

I think a lot of it is because there's a certain stigma to some areas in the us. Particularly to the South. ZWe here are often viewed as racist and insular or uneducated which is very unfair.

Out of curiosity, what do people down where you're at like to say about the Pacific Northwest? I've always wondered. The main things I hear we're known for are hippies and batshit serial killers.
