AS A MATTER OF FACT -- I have not been. XD; My art classes this year kinda killed my love for drawing, and I decided that it's not practical enough of a career choice for me personally. I'm honestly no longer happy with just about anything I draw, and I'm just not willing to put in the time and effort to improve anymore. So, I'm instead going to make a career out of being a hair stylist, and hopefully makeup artist as well.

Eh, they weren't BAD, but I just didn't enjoy drawing the stuff we had to draw a lot of the time (a LOOOOT of observational/must print photo off of interwebz and use that,) which is essential if you wanna function in the art world, and I didn't like the medium a lot of the time (colored pencils and graphite are now my ENEMY.) I had a graphics class, which SHOULD have been fun, but we kept losing computers so I got waaay behind (but she didn't mark anything as late because of that) and I was, for the most part, REALLY bad at designing logos. They just weren't a good fit, so I'm not taking art classes next year. Even when I DID like them, I had chronic lateness issues, so it's just not the best option for me.

It is a big help when it comes to cosplays, and I really do like cosplaying, but that is an expensiiiive hobby. XDDD;; Especially because I'm probably not gonna learn how to sew anytime soon.

Damn, that sucks. I'll miss your art, but I'll be happy in anything you do! Graphic Design, I admit, ain't fun sometimes haha ;; I had one jn 8th grade after I left Boise and the programs we used were just complicating. I can't work Apple computers lol.
Is your school running the International Baccalaureate program? The highschool I'm going to recently is and It. Is. Hell. The work is a lot and much harder (basically learning college work in Sophomore/Junior year), but it is beneficial since most colleges now take the credits you earn and give you privileges. Some automatically put you in Sophomore year in college.

I haven't actually heard of that! I know they've been integrating all of this common core BS, but I will have graduated without having really experienced it. If you mean AP classes, we definitely have those, but those aren't a requirement. I qualified for AP English but decided the less I have on my plate next year, the better. And Macs are ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARES. I don't care how pretty they are, they are ABSOLUTE GARBAGE TO USE.

I think we have AP for those who don't want to do IB. IB is going higher with college credits and stuff. We take 3 High Level classes and a few standard level, plus a Theory of Knowledge class, which is sort of like Philosophy. If we pass all of it, we get the diploma and get a better chance getting into college. Of course, it's not mandatory, but parents want me to try. I'm going into the high level art class next year.

I can handle iPads and iPhones, but never apple computers aHA

Ugh, that sounds like it kinda sucks. I mean, it'd be super helpful to have the college credit and all of that, but that is major no bueno for me. At least, for right now. I'd like to see if I can't take classes online (I'm doing health this summer) and clear up spaces for free periods. Then I might take on some more challenging classes...
