# About me
Still not too used to writing about myself, but I'll make the effort:I'm a recent graduate of Cal State Long Beach in Studio Art, but for the moment I'm just...wandering around...trying to move out of the student mode mentality. While I have my degree in art, I'm just a hobbyist at the moment, as I work on getting other important things figured out. I've worked with a variety of mediums and materials, and while Studio Art/Illustration will always be my main outlet, working with: wood, fiber sculpture, weaving clay moldings, printmaking, etc. have given a wider degree of options than I had considered.
With all this information/experience to draw on, I don't think I'll be working w/in the art field given that...I know just How Many people want to break into that field, and I'd rather not take up a spot if my heart's not in it completely. I'd rather be working at an animal shelter or a museum, and use That to supplement my art.
I'm a Latina of Salvadorian/Guatemalan/Maya descent and I enjoy a wide range of media, such as movies and music. Comedies and Thrillers are right at the top; my interest in music can include a lot of different styles, from cultural/ethnic/traditional music to electronic/dance/trance. While I'm ok with Some Rap/Hip-Hop/R&B, I DO NOT enjoy gospel/worship music at all and I don't care to have my opinion on it changed.

I wasn't terribly tired and I'm glad I went because I don't often get time to do things that I want to do amidst all my running around for projects. It was very enjoyable... if anything I felt kinda old... WEIRD!
