[ || It had been about ten minutes since this problem had come about. One of the pair (Weather couldn't remember) had left the door to Jolyne's apartment open, just enough so that an unexpected visitor had been able to slip inside. ]
[ || Midway through their conversation, Weather had broken off when he had noticed a rather plump tabby cat grooming itself in the middle of the woman's kitchen, its head only lifting once the man had approached. ]
[ || He knew Jolyne didn't have a pet, and immediately, had attempted to pick it up to carry it out: he hadn't quite accounted for how the animal would react to the stranger's unceremoniously touch. ]
[ || Within seconds, the cat had left Weather's hands littered in scratches before it had darted off to get beneath the woman's dressing table in the room opposite. Immediately the man had given chase, and now, he was crouching low enough to look under the dark gap under the dresser. He hadn't bothered to think of his lacking modesty with entering Jolyne's room uninvited, and instead, was attempting to wedge his hand under the dresser to chase the creature beneath out: it had once again given him a harsh bite on the hand for his troubles. He pulled back, still remaining low on his knees. ]
"... Do you have any gloves? I think i can reach it..."

Upon finding there was someone in her home, she was ready to beat someone. Then finding it was Weather, she was somewhat cautious. He wasn't the person who would actually creep through her stuff unless it threatened her life.
She questioned first, then when being told she didn't believe him until she heard the sudden hiss.from under the dresser. Now, there may be a greater chance of animals coming in since this is an outdoor hallway apartment, but she never had a cat come in here but rather lizards and toads.
She walks around to the dresser beside him.
"I have a baseball glove...only one though."
"If that doesn't work, I might have another idea."

[ || Weather had given another, abrupt jolt on the floor as his half-extended hand was swiped at by a now visible, white-toed paw, its narrow claws batting at his fingers numerous times before the limb retreated back under the dresser. ]
[ || He hadn't bothered looking up at the other as he seemed to begin tugging at the fluffed corners of his sleeves to pull them down over his raw, scratched hands. He needed some kind of barrier before he could try touching it again. ]
"Hm, annoying cat...-"
[ || The man seemed to mutter half to himself as acknowledgment of Jolyne's words. He finally cast his brief defeat by standing up at his full height once again, his steps silent as he moved across to the woman's desk in apparent search for something: that glove, most likely... he hadn't even asked... His back had remained turned for a few moments before he finally moved back with the glove grasped between his fingers. ]
[ || He had stopped shortly beside her, each detail of his steady, sky-blue eyes on display as he ducked his head down into the narrow gap of Jolyne's space. His breath was a soft buffet against the strands of her hair. ]
"What would that be?... Your arm won't be able to reach back there."
[ || His barely could. It was hunkered in deep, that was for sure. ]

As Weather searches for the glove, she takes her time to kneel and sink to the floor to take a peek at the cat. She got another hiss from the feline. Getting this cat out would admittedly be difficult.
Once she stood up she was approached by him. By this time, she was used to his lack of respect for personal space. She only brushed some bangs from her forehead to think.
She let out a hum to think.
"We can try strings...cats like string right?"
"It may be my own arm or hand but they can easily mend."

Weather and Jolyne have to go sit in the hallway now that the cat owns the house
[ || Weather had just began pulling the glove down over his palm as Jolyne gave that idle suggestion. He paused for a moment, his attention drifting directly back towards her in a moment of silence that was short lived. ]
[ || Well, that was true. He didn't exactly play with cats often, although, he was sure yarn, or even Stone Free's string would be enough to lure it out. ]
[ || A quiet grunt of agreement was finally given by the man, his boots shuffling once again until he was standing directly by the doorframe. He hadn't bothered taking the glove off just yet. ]
"... Alright. Once you lure it out, I'll catch it."
[ || What he planned to do with it was yet to be decided. Should he just put it outside the door? Or perhaps carry it elsewhere in the street? It was bound to attack him again once he let go of it. ]
"Mind it's claws... They sting."

She slightly observes the dresser the cat was hiding under. She was thinking up a way to do this. She could crouch under the gap and slide her hand under there regardless of the cat. No - she has another idea. So she summons her blue Stand fades in behind her ready to move with her plan.
"Stone Free."
"I can lure it out."
Jolyne unravels her arm just as her Stone Free caught the now limp limb. Both her and Stone Free kneels down to let the pastel blue arm extend the string closer to the feline. Jolyne, stood up - further unraveling her arm and backed away. Stone Free still kept crouched to watch the cat.
"This is like fishing. Except, instead of a fish, it's a cat."

Weather had remained in pensive silence while he watched Jolyne move about with indecisive thought. How could such a tiny creature be causing them so much grief? A splash of water from his own Stand was beginning to seem like a plan at each passing moment. It was only when Stone Free itself appeared behind the woman did Weather seem to form a better position of brace to catch the cat: hopefully it would be unable to resist its natural instinct to give chase.
"Hm-.. 'Catfish'?"
The man's lips offered the ghost of a smile that never quite came, his dreamy eyes falling on the cabinet as he registered a flicker of movement-- then, there was silence.
It had only been heartbeats before Weather saw one of those narrow paws dart out again, this time, towards the woman's unravelled limb, and the further the string led up, the more curious the feline became: Weather was prepared the moment it's upper body was visible.
Immediately, the man had darted down to pin his gloved hand securely, yet gently over the cat back, his opposite limb reaching under to secure his grip on the startled creature to begin hauling it out.

It was a little moment of dangling the thread and waiting until she saw the little pay dart out to catch the string, then again. She gave a grin of victory once the cat had fully given into its instincts to hunt. With Stone Free's help, she reeled in her threads to lure it out.
"Yeah - literally."
She replies proudly.
Finally, the cat was out and almost immediately ended up in arms. Jolyne put her arm back together and came over.
"I gotta admit, hes kinda cute."

It hadn't been long before the cat seemed to snap out of its shock and fall into a fight response, and with Weather being the immediate culprit, it had become aggressive quite quickly.
A long, drawn out hiss was spat at the man while he attempted to bring his unprotected hand down behind the scruff of its neck, his features visibly flinching each time one of those paws shot out in attempt to nick his face. Without luck, it had eventually settled for the man's clothed wrist as a point to take its revenge out on, its needle sharp teeth biting down with a warning growl.
"... Yeah, ow--"
Besides the occasional flicker of pain tugging at his brow, Weather had remained rather calm with the current situation, his eyes even lifting from the plump tabby for a moment to look at the woman across from him. He had given a soft smile of satisfaction to her victory.
"I don't think it- ow-... likes me very much."
Maybe it was his smell, or perhaps because he had given it a fright earlier. He had tried readjusting his grip on it, his bitten arm sliding further under its hind legs for support while his free hand reached out to try and pry its jaws from his wrist.
"Do you think it belongs to any of your neighbors?..."

[/ In a little jail cell in Italy, Narancia sat in the corner behind rusty iron bars, all by himself. He didn't think he'd have to go back to this place after joining Passione. The youth wasn't in for anything serious, or anything he thought of as serious, just a little skirmish. No one was seriously hurt. He hoped he'd be released in a few days. It was more boring than a major set back. He almost didn't want to leave just because he knew he would get an earful from his teammates, truly the worst punishment he could possibly receive was a lecture from Fugo.]
[/ The painted walls had uneven coloring and texture, as it was old and poorly maintained. The floors were made of cement and were dotted with water damage, especially around the small gated drain in the middle of the room. It wasn't here to look pretty, so it just didn't. Hardly anyone was here, but the 'guests' who stayed here were both rugged and plain. Even Narancia was a little roughed up, with some minor scraps and bruises, he smelt faintly of blood and sweat. His little space had a small window near the roof and a over hanging lamp. It was furnished with a sink, toilet, and a cheap bunk bed with an iron frame and mediocre at best bedding. ]
[/ He gently tapped his feet to the beat of a song he was playing in his head, as he stared at the ceiling. Somehow someone managed to get a piece of gum stuck up there, whoever that person was, Narancia silently commended their great skill. Passing corrections officers briefly mentioned to one another that someone else was to be put in this cell soon, not paying any attention to the boy. He turned his attention to the talkative officers, wondering what kind of person was going to be here now...]

i. Jolyne had a clean slate for about a week since moving here if it wasn't for some impatient bitch at the plaza. She couldn't go for a while without getting into trouble. She got into a fight. It wasn't even her fault.
ii. Now she was in the familiar restraints of the cuffs around her wrists and heading down the dull halls of confinement. This place made Green Dolphin State Prison look like a palace. She mutters something about it in English as they put her in with the gangster. Its a good thing she wasn't going to be here for long and at least she had company - was that good or bad?

[/ Narancia, upon seeing gate open for the newcomer, didn't seem all that ecstatic. How could he when didn't even know her. The teen looked her in the eyes, and brushed a lock of hair away from his face. His quiet curiosity kept him fixated on her. ]

[/ In any case, he didn't seem all that interested in making friends. But he didn't feel content to just pretend she wasn't there... he'd look pretty dumb if he was still pretending to have a radio with a girl standing 5 feet in front of him. Well... it'd look stupid no matter who was watching, but it's not like he had anything better to do. ]
[/ He was content to remain in uncomfortable silence he suddenly remembered something of utmost importance that simply could not go unaddressed. ]
"Top bunk is mine!"

i. She was silent for a moment as she had to take in her surroundings. She wasn't sure what to make of the teen she was with who was staring right back at her. He looked in his late teens
The cell wasn't small so she wouldn't be too crowded.
ii. She seemed somewhat startled by the sudden outburst. She looked up at the bunk he referred to. Thankfully she understands Italian well enough but was slow to speak it.
"Wh- er fine."
"that is if you can actually reach it..."
iii. There was a joke in her tone. She didn't want to make a bad first impression. She didn't want to make enemies ( or any more trouble than she is. )

[/ He got up and grabbed the frame of the bunk and tried to push himself up. He could do pull ups well enough, he just had trouble actually getting the rest of his body over the edge, so he came up with some awkward looking maneuver to use the wall to get him up there. ]

i. it was an attempt at humor and at least it eased the awkward tension that was forming. So said the small grin on her lips.
ii. She'll lean against the wall by the cell bars and watch him attempt to climb first, then awkwardly move to climb up. Jolyne was tempted to come over and help him up but - since he seemed confident, that wouldn't help his case.
She admits the prison was cruel to not even have a latter for the bunks. Was it a luxtury?
"Well, that was impressive."
"Hope you can do that each night as we're here."
iii. She can just slide inro the bottom bunk.

i. The bed was - what she expected for a prison. But unlike the last place she was in, this had a mattress. It may have a few stains and a spring poking through the corner, but it was tolerable.
"Wh- oi, it wasn't my fault! Some bitch and her guy friend decided to start shit."
ii. Jolyne was sure they targeted her because she was a naive foreigner and her accent can prove it. She was definitely american.

[/ he tried to keep it general, he didn’t really want to talk about he world of stand users to a stranger. Either she isn’t a stand user, and she wouldn’t understand it. Or she is a stand user, and learning about his power would make them distrustful of the other. ]

She sighs and lies back - letting her back hit the mattress and her legs hanging off the edge. So much for keeping out of trouble.
With the note she took from her new cell mate, it didn't make her too better.

She could say as she recalls all that went down in Florida. To Jolyne it was too much all too quickly in her situation. She wished she didn't have to do with Stands but - it is what it is. She just hopes she can get away for a while. After all, no one knows exactly who she was here or her connections. As long that stayed hidden, she's fine.

[/ he pouted at nothing. Life sure got a lot more unbelievable since joining the gang, dangerous too, but he can’t say that he’d stop himself from joining up if he could. He would never be able to give up his friends in Buccilate’s team. He poked his head under the bed to see Jolyne again. ]

[/ he pointed at the birthmark on her shoulder, starring at it with wide eyes. It looked kind of familiar to him... but he just couldn’t place it. ]
