Clutching his coat around his broad shoulders, like he was trying to shield something, already having a bullet wound in his side from the many shots he dodged, water drenched every inch of his body as a large blood stain mixed with the water in the fabric of his vest. He could care less about his own pain, he needed to hide before she got hurt, and she was already wailing that would make anyone's blood run cold from the loud shots. The Marines wanted something from him, himself or his precious treasure, and he was not going to let them have it. With the rain leaving him powerless, all he can do is just run.

In fact, she had less of a clue as to what happened to her than the next guy. One moment she was tending to matters in the castle and the next she was laying limp on the surface that she hardly ever visited. Great.
The womans golden irises opened softly, quickly realizing how blurred her vision became. She swore she could spot a ship in the distance, however, and made an effort to move her limbs to slide herself back into the sea, but to no avail. Her thick kimono sleeves probably didn't help. 'Looks like she'd just have to wait until she could move again, and hope that the ship didn't spot her, or just ignored her.

when hody gets out of the fishman island prison early, this is when magnolia could still be an infant just for this, or whatever,, luffy seeing him walking around so freely and gets super mad that he’s really wants to beat his ass again,,
getting more suspicious that he’s holding "something", when he’s given a surprise attack hody protects her from getting hit so he gets hit in the back instead,, this is when crying or another voice is heard, noticing that he was protecting his own daughter from harm by using his own body as a shield
