Well I have had one for about 2 months now but I just made a new shop for my DA. I have never recieved any calls from them or any thing in the mail and unlike etsy and ebay they don't take their commission out of your sells! You can have a free account (only sell 20 items at once, not as many customizable features) or a premium ($9.95 a month).
I have no complaints from them but they are a lot smaller than etsy so you would have to get the word around about your store probably through DA by putting your art in groups so more people will see it.
You could always not sell through a website but I know that as a shopper I would feel more secure buying from an online store.
