-Fantasy AU-
Racing through the forests on horseback, an injured, beaten, and bleeding Rowan would be gripping on the reins of his mare, demanding that she go faster. A command he would repeat upon hearing a blood curdling bellow from the depths of the forests as trees far behind him toppled over. It was a chaotic scene the half-elf found himself in, hearing his heart hammer away in his ears with the frantic chirps of panicked birds, the stinging pain from the nasty gash on his arm that bleed through his armor, and the rage brewing in his mind for the miscalculated information he was provided before going out on this quest. What was meant to be an easy monster killing contract had become a flimsy attempt to combat something lieges above him. He had no choice but to retreat, how foolish he was for thinking this abomination would let him get away. His horse leapt out of the shadows of the forest, into the open plains, and it was then Rowan saw a fortress off in the distance. A perfect place to hide from the monster chasing him. He would urge his horse forward, who responded with a panicky whiny before charging off. A rage filled howl erupted from the timberlands as an angry disfigured giant soon followed by bursting through the greenery. Ripping another tree from its roots in the process. The creature was truly a hideous thing with boils and warts covering it's pale white skin, flashing yellow jagged teeth and black gums with every angry scream as it's bulging yellow eye turned to it's fleeing prey. It would grab the enormous tree it knocked over with ease, gripping it as if it was a club and gave chase.
A stream of mad curses escaped Rowan, praying that he could reach the fortress before the giant caught him. Even with their current distance the beast could make it up in a matter of seconds with its sheer size now that there was no rough terrain for it to traverse through. Heavy pants could be heard from his horse as he encouraged her to go faster, dreading the animal facing exhaustion from so much stress being put on it. Another roar from the pursuing behemoth made him push his worries to the back of his mind. For now, he needed to focus on reaching that fortress above all else. Though upon approaching he would notice flags of The Order hanging from its side. He was quick to dismiss the surprise of there being knights here, they seemed to be posted all across the land, it was no surprise they would take residence here. If anything he would appreciate more arms against the beast that was chasing him. Though he knew for certain he would receive some sort of scorning after the matter, but he would worry about that later. Now, more than ever, the wizard desperately needed aid. Rowan would race to the front entrance, where he was stopped by a pair of knights guarding the door who demanded why he was on their grounds.
A scream from the oncoming monster would have the half-elf point out in the distance, “There’s a Fomorian close by, big, ugly, evil, and pissed off.” It pained Rowan to say the next words but his life was more vital than his pride, “I… I thought I could take it alone but I was wrong and I need help, please…” The two knights would stare at the adventurer then meet each other’s gaze before nodding. One retrieved a horn from his side and blew it, alerting their fellow knights of oncoming danger as they quickly brought the injured half-elf and his horse inside.

[ Yaoyorozu feels a tinge of embarrassment upon seeing what Monoma's true intentions are. She nods her head, yet bears an unenthusiastic expression. Her brows furrow from the mental images presently surfacing in the mind. ]
"My quirk? Well it is possible for me to create food using it, however the taste is very bland. It would require further knowledge of every ingredient, texture, and so on."
"Unfortunately my knowledge does not suffice and..."
[ She turns her gaze away from him. ]
"...it is a bit much to eat something that I made from my body. It does not feel appropriate."

[ She frowns softly in confusion at the other's statement. His appearance is slightly different and face clean shaven, but these features are unmistakably Aizawas. ]
"Is this maybe some kind of joke a teacher plays on their student? Do homeroom teachers here at U.A do it often? Then again I do not think you are the type to tell one so suddenly."

*he couldn't help but take a step back away from her. He was getting uncomfortable by her words. She seemed as if she knew him but he himself had no recognition of her. His older, "future" memories were wiped clean*

[ She did not take a step forward in pursuit, instead Yaoyorozu remains sternly put unsure of what is going on. His words serve to only have her form a frown. ]
"Um, okay then. I will not bother you anymore."
[ Yaoyorozu looks dejected while walking away from the younger Aizawa. She quietly whispers something to herself. ]
"Did I do something wrong? Maybe I could have been mistaken, but to have the same name? Did... I do something wrong with how I responded?"

*such a rejected look was all too familiar to him. Whenever he shooed Yamada away, he would look like a kicked puppy, then the guilt ridden Aizawa would bring him back in within seconds. Like now....*

[ The hairs on the nape of Yaoyorozu's neck stand erect in fear from his voice seemingly calling out. She hesitantly turns around to face him. As she listens to his words they spark further confusion. Overlapping his words is a single thought: not only do he and her homeroom teacher look alike but they share the same name too. ]
"Aizawa Sensei, no, um Aizawa-san."
[ A look of uncertainty paints her face from the inability to choose which honorific is most proper. ]
"Yes, you would be correct. My name is Yaoyorozu. Yaoyorozu Momo."
[ She pauses before gazing at him apologetically. ]
"I am sorry if I made you uncomfortable. The resemblance, even the name, between you two is uncanny so I made an assumption. It seems to be only a coincidence."

[ Yaoyorozu feels the strange paper ball hit her on the back of the head as she was organizing the first floor of the dorms. She picks it up and curiously turns towards whence it was thrown only to see a familiar and unexpected place. ]
"Bakugo-san? Why are you throwing a ball of paper at me? You could have just politely handed it over."
[ She gazes at it once more only for a thought to enter her mind. ]
"Could this possibly be a note to me?"

[ She opens her mouth about to speak up, but nothing comes out because of his surprisingly courteous answer. Well, in his own way. Words manage to find their way out in the form of gratitude. ]
"Oh I see, thank you for being considerate."
[ The paper ball nearly drops out of her hand as Yaoyorozu mentally double takes from the sheer confusion brought about by Bakugo's invitation. There is a brief pause on her part because of the mixture of thoughts rushing throughout her head. Yaoyorozu finally shoots a smile at him, finding enthusiasm in having lunch with a classmate. ]
"Going out for lunch together? This is unexpected of you, Bakugo-san. I will gladly go with you. Did you have some place in mind?"

*he scoffed in response to her words. Indeed that request was unexpected from him but perhaps he wanted a change. Being a lonely grump can grow tiring after awhile. Subconsciously he cried for companionship even if he wasn't a sociable person*

[ A single, curious brow is raised by his temperamental scoff. She remains uncertain of his reasoning, yet pardons herself to properly get ready for the outing as soon as possible. ]
"That is alright with me. Please give me a moment to get myself ready for our outing."
[ Yaoyorozu departs from the first floor momentarily. While getting ready quickly in her dorm room a question does surface about Bakugo's choice in who to ask, but nevertheless embraces his own unique approach to cultivating friendship. In a few minutes she speedily makes her way down the steps then towards his side radiating eagerness. ]
"I am ready to depart, but I do have a question. Where do you plan on taking us?"
[ While tapping her chin she ponders the places her classmate may visit in his spare time. They have hardly spoken on the scale of someone like Kirishima, so it is a mystery. ]
"Perhaps it is a place you frequent often. Well, you are familiar with places more than I am so please guide me, Bakugo-san."

There's this little quaint coffee shop not too far from here. It has sandwiches and drinks and stuff. Nothing fancy but nice nonetheless. Hopefully you'll enjoy it. If not, you can starve I guess.
*shrugs and just began walking out the dorms and off school property, expecting the other to follow. An awkward silence filled the air between them. He wasn't sure what to say or how to socialize in general. Although now that he thinks about it, he doesn't even remember her name. He never bothered to keep it in his mind. He turned his head towards her*

[ Her brows raise in surprise at the mention of a coffee shop because Bakugo did not strike her as the type to take fancy to said drink. She quietly nods her head in acknowledgement believing an opinion like that will only be met with a scowl. His hopeful wish, albeit done in his own way, earns a lighthearted chuckle. ]
"Hehe. That is very kind of you to say. I believe I will. In fact I am looking forward to it."
[ Yaoyorozu follows closely behind. She moves with a classy stride and both hands resting upfront. Soon their pace matches, but the lingering silence continues. Fingers fidget and rub over one another in an attempt to pass the time. She sneaks a few glances in his direction and averts them before his own can meet. It is difficult to find words to say or even start with. Ears do perk up and, simultaneously, Yaoyorozu feels a brick fall atop her head. ]
"Huh?"
[ A tinge of disbelief shoots to her conscious. Asking someone without knowing their name to some place seems preposterous, yet reality sinks in once realizing which classmate this is. She utters a soft sigh. ]
"I see, but that is very like Bakugo-san. The name of your classmate right beside you is Yaoyorozou."
"I think you called me ponytail before. Do you like giving nicknames to others?"

{ She recently had some of the spotlight in the manga, so Horikoshi definitely is delivering. Of course I still want more of Yaoyorozu in my life showing off her tactician mind. I think it is obvious that I enjoy her character very much given that I am roleplaying the lady. Watching her grow into what she an potentially be is always a wonderful treat. Speaking of screen time Eri is inbound. Thankfully she is able to have a a sense of normalcy being no longer with her abuser. }

heroic acts. that’s true !! and i’m honestly glad that horikoshi decided to give her some more screentime but like you said as well, it’s nearly not enough !! she seems like an absolute sweetheart who tries her utterly best and i love her for that, i really hope she can find the self confidence that she deserves because she’s amazing !!
but ahh yes, i agree with you. i’m very glad that eri gets the chance to have atleast a bit of a normal life again, it’s really sad to see that she had to go through all that at the age of seven,, i’m sure everyone of UA and all the other pro heroes who she’ll associate can help her ease into being surrounded by kind people again !!

{ Thank you very much for your kind words. Without a doubt I shall cherish this beautiful child, who is my favorite girl. Should they meet I will say Yaoyorozu will find his abilities, initially believing it to be a quirk, rather interesting because of how versatile Luffy makes it! His high energy is notably going to contrast the very formal and posh lass, but that is not necessarily a bad thing. She would be curious as to how to possibly behave more free spirited as the pirate! Yaoyorozu will like to make friends with an exciting person like him. The good news is it means neither party will view it sexually because she does not cloud her mind with those thoughts and focuses on heroism or being able to do her best in dire situations so everyone is safe! His genuine excitement would certainly boost some confidence for sure. }

Anytime !! Even though I’m not too far into BNHA but I already love quite a bit of the characters— Momo included ! Yeah Luffy’s abilities are ,,,, interesting ,,,,, Oda gave him the power of rubber because he thought it was the most USELESS ability every and yet he made it into something really versatile and deadly— Luffy has the creativity and ambition to make his Fruit really strong and I adore it !! I bet Momo would be invested in it too and think it would be interesting. I bet they’d make an AMAZING duo !! Luffy’s free spirited and excitable nature would DEFINITELY contrast to Momo’s more calm and mature manner she reminds me a lot of Robin.
I can only imagine how she would react if she found out that Luffy had other abilities other than his rubber ability too like his Observation, Armament and Conquerers Haki not to mention his IMMENSE strength

{ I think it is because BNHA characters can be very endearing sometimes as well as being presented in a colorful world with many possibilities. That is what I like about Luffy! On the surface he does not seem like much of a threat even when the origin is identified because it easily is compared to other abilities, but he is far smarter than he lets on. This is represented in how not only is the ability used for combat, but utility too. Personally I think that the combination of their quirky powers can create a deadly force. Imagine creating items to best enhance his power on top of what training has already done? You get a deadly force you probably might regret messing with. Dude I was thinking the same thing actually! She gives off a Robin vibe if we had to compare. You also get an interesting fact that both have powers tied to the concept of creation. Seems like someone noticed.
If the quirk and fruit have not been distinguished she might genuinely think of the possibility of someone being born with more than one quirk to explain the physical enhancements. Above all she would be impressed and use it as motivation to better herself. Thus, she would ask him plenty of questions to take mental notes of his answers.

The only time where I see them have direct interaction to some extent is during the Kamino arc. Unfortunately I cannot see these two people combine their brains for the ultimate mix-up for the opponent. Characters who analyze or use tactics are some of my favorite, so hopefully they can be on a team together one day to see this potential in action. Off screen is the only safe bet we have or maybe other content in side comics that exist. Study sessions must be interesting because I reckon each provide a fresh perspective on topics. I am particularly fond of the idea of them debating what is the right approach for a scenario. Both have different mindsets after all.
Yes! I do enjoy the thought of him showing her around given Yaoyorozu is a sheltered rich girl. She would find joy in the common things because it is likely that her parents never took her there. Good Midoriya being a tour guide! }
