Yeah the comics are absolutely twisted, Booga is still my fave charachter though. I'm tempted to see the film but i'm worried about disappointment.

I have a friend who is really into them and reckons the movie and the comics are pretty similar. As a hardcore fan I suppose you'd be able to pick the subtle differences in tone more, but visually they look seamless to an outsider. The movie is pretty cheesy in parts, but Lori Petty is great.

well i wouldn't call myself a hard core fan, i just really love the art style, characterisation, twisted plot and socio-political overtones. My worry would be that a lot of what makes it so good is due to the medium and doesn't translate well to film. Still i suppose the only way to know is to watch the film, i could be missing out.

I say watch it. It's pretty cheap on dvd (if you can find it anywhere other than Minotaur).

Hmm odd so there making you start more work before you've even finished this years exams, seems counter-productive to me. I have a weeks holiday which has been a relief to say the least. I hope you'll find the time to write some more and put it up.

Well I don't get exam leave this week since all the exams are technically A2. Interestingly enough I actually wrote a piece the night before the C3 exam (which was on Monday), think I'll post it in the breaks during Lost. Well enjoy your week off I guess! (we kind of get the friday off - it's sports day so half the year probably won't turn up)
