Well enough , I'm in the second year of sixth form, so Uni next year, and the aplications have deadlines which run out sooner than I'd like - it's all a little chaotic at the moment. I will no doubt keep up with dA, though I may take considerable amounts of time to reply

And more importantly, what of yourself - how have you fared?

I hope your applications go well; I'm glad I didn't bother with them since I chose to go to a community college here for my general classes (because it's much cheaper and just as good), though I will have to in the near future, I'm sure since I plan on moving on to a University within the next year or so.

Where do you hope to go for University?

I'm doing well, though not having an internet connection isn't fun not only because I can't check my email, but because I have a hard time doing papers that require research. Ah well, hopefully I'll get my computer fixed soon and in the meantime I'll finish reading many of the books I am in the middle of reading.

Well the options for me at the end of this academic year are seeking employment or higher education (Uni), so I'm making an application to study physics at Oxford! And to 5 other places, just in case...

At least you won't be bored, thanks to that literature (Twilight Zone! ) , while waiting for your computer to be up-and-running - I'm sort of reading up on the topics I'll end up studying during the physics course, but it gets a little repetitive once you've read one or two books on chaos...

Best of luck with your move to Uni, and more immediately, getting your computer working again!

School breaks up July 21st here, but as you no doubt already know, the summer holildays we miss are distributed throughout the school year (alternating between one and two week breaks, roughly every seven weeks).

Actually, sleep is one thing I'm not getting much of right now, having to revise for the exams and all (usually the day before -.-). That said I'm doing well enough.

But watching your body clock vary on a daily basis can be... interesting

I sincerely hope your fourtunes are faring better than mine, and that you've struck (in the pseudo-metaphorical sense relating to having sight or possesion) upon your muse Enjoy the summer and the holidays while they last

I thought you might have year round schools, but I wasn't positive. I actually prefer our way, for some reason. For me, having a long break is more relaxing and productive than having multiple shorter breaks. I seem to have found my muse, or at least am rediscovering it. I just can't upload to DA because my printer, and therefore scanner, is unhooked for the time being and I can't use my grandfather's digital camera because he just moved and has no idea where it is. Anyway, I hope that you'll get more sleep soon, seeing as sleep is a very good thing

Well, not quite year round, but certainly closer to it than Russian or American (and some European countires) schools. I seem to remember school in Russia being more taxing, though that's largely due to the content rather than the placement of the holidays (you'd get two or three major holidays, but not much else, and lessons on saturdays). I guess I'm used to this system, I would probably forget everything I did in the previous academic year if the holidays here were as long as they are in Russia (rather than just half ).

Hoorah for your muse , and I'm sure it'll be well worth the wait for the digital camera and scanner.

Sleep is indeed a fine thing, and I had plenty today, I certainly hope you've not missed any

I've seen one (retired) EVE player on here. The rest must be hiding (or hiding it). Anyway, if you're going to create a new accout for every deviation you think might attract a few replies you may as well give up.

Also: In reference to Ferion, I may, if by "buy" you mean "fail to pay for", and even if so, only after hell freezes over (or my exams end).

P.S. Yes, I'm grouchy - five hours of (sleep-depriving) chemistry revision and only 3/10 topics covered will do that to a guy.
