The end was rather anticlimatic. But I'll stop complaining about that book. Now we're reading Conrad's Heart of Darkness.

For my English research paper I ended up choosing Beloved by Toni Morrison, the stream of consciousness is strong with the force in that one. owo;; REALLY good book though.

Oooh. That was the last book that we read before the AP test (except now we're reading Brave New World for our final). I admit I didn't like it at first, mainly through the sheer disturbing quality of the source material, but Morrison's prose ended up winning me over.

Brave New World...eh. xD;; Not my favorite anti-Utopian novel, was a little too weird for my tastes. Which AP tests did you end up taking this year?

I felt really bad for Denver, even if she was a brat. But it did take me a while to realize she was around 19 since she was acting so childishly. But...but PAUL D YOU IDIOT!!!

I took Chemistry, Calc AB, and English Lit this year.

Graduation is June 3.

I wasn't quite used to the my teacher's style, so I think any bad grades are my fault. Remember to review your stuff at least once a week and you should be fine. AP Chem relies on your understanding the concepts and you will be required to explain your answers using formulas and stuff.

I'm better at analyzing literature than I am analyzing rhetoric and writing persuasive essays, so this year felt better than the last. Unfortunately, my teacher gave us a lot of work (so I pulled a lot of late nighters), but my teacher was -really- good and she prepared you for the exam.

Don't get teachers who will let your breeze through your class. You need the entire year to prepare for the exams!
