If I only could create original piece's looked as good as my Inking over other peoples Pencils, then I would definitely consider it, but take away Photoshop and its relevant tool's and my art wouldn't be as good, by quite a margin.
I can read other people lines quite well & have a good eye for detail & a passion for the art and if someone wanted to pay me to use PS or an equivalent program to digitally ink other people's artwork then I'd be up for that, Would have no clue how to go about finding that extremely niche job though

Still, I can dream right?

SEND IN SAMPLES BRO.
With a resume, or qualifications or whatever but at least start a dialogue with people who might have a use for your talent.

Yes, Your right about the Sample's and Resumé - The Sample Part would be easy enough, I think a few DA Artist's I've Inked on would let me use their Art as Sample's, though I don't yet have much if anything I personally created.
The Resumé part is a different matter though as I'm Self-taught with the Digital Inking and have Zero Qualifications in art of any type and I've never worked in the Industry at all, wouldn't even know where to start lol!

Thank you though, I'm off to google, see if I cant find some Info on putting together a new Resumé and what potential employer might want to see in one! It's a start Right?

yup! Don't let the self taught part get at you or stop you. If your work is good enough (and I think there is a lot of good stuff here) you can really let your art speak for itself man. Don't say that you aren't qualified, who knows. I think that people will work with you. Especially if you can turn a page back around quickly.

Hey Peter,

thanks very much for the birthday wishes, I have not been on in a while, found a job as a tech artist for a pulltabs company and now I am starting to do design work for their games. Its paying bills and keeping me drawing so that is good.

More exciting for me is the book I am helping to create, THE CULLING, From OMAHA UNDERGROUND COMICS (OMUG for short) We are working on completing issue 1 and promo artwork and hoping to pitch and debut the series soon! We will be at the IOWA comic con as well!

Anyway I hear you started a new job as well! what are you up to?

Yep, got a gig at a deli in Manhattan I'm training on now, go full time next week.

As far as comic work, going to take a good time off to finish most work for others and focus more on my own work next year... the day job will help get me there.
