You faved one of mine, which is how I find like minded artists, or at least those I enjoy. With your work, it's the dynamics and focused emotions that come through with the splintering, if that's the right word. I think you would be an interesting personality, if one could get past the defenses. (That's just an observation, I'm happily married.)

Hey, thanks for your interest, as well as the link. The way I do these drawings is as an idiot-savant, something akin to autonomic writing. The conscious part of me has no control or inkling as to a finished product, which usually starts with a few basic unrelated seeming lines which appear to organically grow, so any relationship to a style or talent is strictly coincidental.
I also have Prosopagnosia (face blindness) which is why you will never find a realistic face, rather my emotional interpretation of what a face might be since I can only see pieces rather than a gestalt whole. You are the first Artist that's commented, which I very much appreciate.

Do not sell your self short, it may be a coincidents that you have these conditions that make your art what it is, that are beyond your control, but really, how is this different from someone who has great talent from there instincts that they are born with? There is something about you that leads you to make interesting art, you can take cretit for it as much as anyone can.

The Asperger's part of me makes it difficult to tell if I offended you, if so my apologies. I do find it difficult to take myself seriously. I accidentally started this artsy stuff three years ago, and in my Black and White Aspie world view, it is a challenge for me to attribute value to something without understanding its purpose. I understand the theoretical benefits of art to society, but as I'm producing these vignettes almost daily I can't help asking myself "what are they for?" The very concept of identifying myself as artistic requires a complete deconstruction of my self view, but I'll try.

It just kind of slops over the brim of my head, just be glad you don't have to experience it from the inside like I do.

it might be interesting for a time, all those bold shapes and color patterns, but what I have is a whorl of words in my head. they trickle from the tips of my finger into little puddles of self conscious chicken scratch. lol.
