Hey there! I'm from the Northwest Suburbs. I absolutely love Chicago. And it's funny, no matter where you live here, as long as you're within an 80 mile radius of the city, we all say we're from Chicago instead of the actual suburb we're from! ^_^ Can I ask you a question, artist to artist? How do you begin to approach a gallery for displaying your work? I've just graduated from University, and while they were fantastic at training and guiding the creative process, they didn't do much in terms of helping us with finding/talking to galleries for our work. Any advice would be appreciated!

I did a walk in on the first gallery years ago and googled the galleries and e-mailed my info with pics for the rest. Make sure its art that is very commecial. all of my stuff sells before collecting dust.
