Hey there! I have a question. You posted a comment that contained 2 GORGEOUS poems. (Sea Fever and Invictus) Where did you get them? =3 I wuv them!

Well, "Sea Fever" was in my sixth grade reading textbook. The whole class had to memorize it, but I adored it, so I still know it to this day. "Invictus" was pointed out to me by my high school librarian, who was also a good friend, as something I would probably enjoy. I memorized it then, and still know it now.

Interestingly enough, if you are a Star Trek fan, you might reconize the line "All I ask is a tall ship, and a star to steer her by" from the plaque that sits outside Captain Picard's ready room in The Next Generation.
Both poems are often quoted, the above referenced line in "Sea Fever" and "I am master of my fate; I am the captain of my soul" from "Invictus."
