Yeah dude, the scarring is what makes the costume! So many people were really creeped out and this little tiny girl cosplaying Maka didn't want to go anywhere near me it was awesome. Also the screw turns and makes a clicking sound, it's great. I'm taking it to PAX Prime this year so I should hopefully have some more photos, I'm in the process of dying my hair again for it, about to start second round of bleaching. I actually didn't know that Medusa cosplayer, we met at the convention and she brought the costume out just for me it was greeaat!  If you wanna try some for yourself the product I used was Rigid Collodion www.rigidcollodion.info/  It pinches the skin and stuff makes a little indent because it sinks in, people can touch it and it feels gross it's so fun.

And yes, I have seen that vid! I thought it was great--  I had actually drawn an image ages ago based on that one song which made it even better. [ doctor-stein.tumblr.com/post/2… ] You have good tastes in tracks!

Props though, man.  You're one of the few, if the only Stein cosplayer who plays up the creep factor to eleven and I love it.

It was the left side and when I swiped to unlock it switched to the right side, that's so intense.  You're amazing that's seriously so rad I think I was using it for months and I kept showing people.  Now I'm probably going to switch back to it for PAX.  Can I follow you please?  I'm following you.  Post tons of art and if I get good creepy photos I'll make sure you get them okay?!

That's awesome! What a great idea.

And sure, go for it! I don't post anymore to DA, but I do post a lot to Tumblr.  That's where any of my art goes these days among a bunch of reblogs and nerdy hobby/game stuff.  And yes please! I'd love to see more pics of your cosplay if you get em, you're rendition of Stein has gotta be one of the best I have happened to come across, I gotta say.

I just saw that!  That's crazy, I don't know how I missed it... I'm kind of terrible at Tumblr.  I got an email from them saying I've had my blog for three years but I still don't know shit all about it.  I'll definitely let you know when more stuff comes up!


Did you see this one yet?  It was right after I redid my hair this month and I wanted to see how it looked in camera but didn't want to put on the stitches so I did pre-stitches Stein.  Origin story version? I dunno.
