Yeah plus I’ve also got tons of ideas for if you want to experiment with drawing new things! It’s usually always a good idea to keep highly experimental drawing to non paid forms of art like personal projects and possibly even requests though you could possibly do them in commissions if you keep on showing the requester the WIP skeches so they could help you with getting details right so that they are satisfied! It’s really to make your commissions more professional plus I have no way of making online payments at the moment so I cannot commission you though it’s understandable that you would strictly only do commissions if you do commissions as a full time job!

Thanks for the reply! Believe it or not, many of my commissions are "artist's choice," where my client gives me a character and lets me do whatever I want with it. Depending on the commission, I go through different thumbnail ideas and rounds of WIPs so they get something they're truly happy with in the end. It's made for lots of excellent pieces!

Okay anyways if your artist’s choice commissions are free then it would probably be a good idea to rename it to your request box so it’s less confusing and more straight forward! Anyways even if you wanted to you could even have a request box journal where people can post refs of their OCs and you can do whatever you want with those characters when you want to do an experimental project!

Sorry for any confusion; None of my commissions are free. I'll be announcing a new price guide soon. 

By "artist's choice," I mean that my clients give me a character to draw for a paid commission, and then I make the decisions about the scene, clothing, etc. from there. My clients tend to love it!

I can't afford to do free art at the moment, but if you follow my mailing list or my twitter account I occasionally do raffles (twitter.com/zelaphas ).

Yeah plus doing free art is something that you would probably want to avoid all together if you do commissions as your full time job and you are dependent on them for your income!

Hi! Yeah, I moved to a new account, scrubbed the old one, but did a search and found some old gift and trade art. Nice memories! I'm trying to keep this one a bit more regularly updated now that I've got a Patreon going.

Sadly, most of the people I used to talk to or do those trades with are long gone. I guess it's been close to a decade now since I was in college and high school and so active on this site! Glad to see you're here; How are you?
