Oh my god, happy belated birthday! I really hope you had an amazing day ^^
Anyway I just went there on holiday because I really wanted to see the city. It was marvelous, I am glad I've had the time to visit almost all of it. It was also my first vacation abroad, since the farest I had been by that time was just some small Austrian towns (that are very near to the part of Italy where I live). I especially enjoyed the flight, it was also the first time I've travelled by plane. What about you? Are you enjoying the summer?

Wow, that must have been cool. Also didn't know that this was your first time flying in an airplane. You know, I also went to London before, but it was back in 2002. You are lucky that your flight there was shorter than mine since I live in America. -.- So what did you see in London? Just curious.  

I'm enjoying summer so far, I'm going to California during August.

Yeah, the flight lasted only about one hour and half, but on the way back it was kinda scary because there were turbulences and air gaps due to a storm. 
But yes, I guess from America it would have been a little bit longer (ps. Happy 4th of July!  )
London was great, I stayed there for six days and saw almost all of the main things. I especially enjoyed the museums, the natural sciences one, the British and the Sherlock Holmes museum in 221B Baker street. I had to take many, many undergrounds, though,  and I am not very used to it since I live in a small town of only 20000 people and I never use public transport

Luckily not in my area. It's more something that happens in the center regions, actually. But in my town there's many rivers that regularly overflow when we have like one week long of rain. It's annoying since I go to school by bike, and when it goes like this I either have to go by foot (which is a 2 km long way) or in the rain in the middle of the highway. I've started hating rain >.<
