Happened to me as well.
I was just sitting there, waiting for it to come. Seriously.
In the place where the Grav Lift is. Throwing grenades.
Then I hear the Whoaiririririrr of the Grav Lift. I'm the only one on the map, and the XBox isn't even connected to XBL (I don't even have an account).
I turn around, and I see someone identical to my character. No gamertag. Next thing I know, I die, killed by the Guardians.
For the next 15 minutes or so, I respawn, die, respawn, die, respawn, take a step, die.
Then it got on my nerves (I was alone) and I turned off the XBox.
And went to hide under my blanket.
