I love Beksinski... One of my top three inspirations. I found a blog with some translated video footage of him talking about his process and subject matter. Such a cool guy! And, it's so weird the way he died... Anyway, I'd love to make it to his museum in Sanok (right?). Maybe, someday Thanks for the watch!

Yeah, it is visible in your art, that he inspired you!
I have never thought to check for videos about him(or other artists I like), need to catch up on this. By the way, recently they published a new book about him, you will find some info about it here: (I recommend using google translate, it's Polish publisher )

Unfortunatelly I think it is only in Polish language for now, the same for movie on the page above, but maybe they will translate it soon, so you can have an eye on it. If I will hear about it I will contact you.
To be fully correct it is not "his" museum, but they have "permanent" galery of his art in Sanok as far as I know.
I would like to also draw your attention to another Polish artist - W. Siudmak (I really love his art inspired by Diuna books).

Thanks for the link about his book. I ran the text through Google translate and it sounds really interesting. I didn't know the tragedy surrounding his son, until recently. Very sad.
Here's a link to the videos I mentioned: zdzislawbeksinski.blogspot.com…
Ah, I understand about "his" museum, now I think it would be great if he had his own, of course. Actually, I would be happy to just see some of his work in real life, someday. I bet it's even more impressive and captivating. Oh well, maybe someday, I can afford to have one of his pieces
Please let me know if the video you mentioned gets translated. I'd love to hear more from him in his own voice!
